Lost in Dramaland since Devil Beside You. An Ahjumma in training.

Like many Brazilian dinosaurs on dramaland, my passion for "Asia" begins with the animes broadcasted by the extinct Rede Manchete. Years later, Cartoon Network arrives in Brazil bringing more animes, but with the differential of having the original OST's. One song leads to another, and thanks to the dearest BoA, I dip my toe into K-pop too. Jang Na Ra soon follows as an indication, which leads me to liking C-pop. Films in Mandarin followed, as they were easier to find in Brazil (VHS era, hi).

Until one day I see a trailer with a song by Rainie Yang (on the playlist to this day) and it was hers my first Asian drama. I never wanted to watch it again because I'm no longer that depressed girl who found an escape in a fictional reality so different from her real life.

After a while, I immersed myself in k-dramas, which began to become popular on the internet, I saw a lot of titles in the old DramaFever. Already working as a translator in real life, I arrived at Viki in 2013. It was in 2018, with The Story Of Yanxi Palace that I decided to pay for Viki. (One cannot watch this masterpiece with interruptions). 

Since then, my life has been a back and forth between k-dramas and c-dramas, with a j-drama here and there. I've always liked historical plots, whether with romance or not. I work with literary translation to this day and dedicate myself to titles with a historical background.
