I mean BL fans are okay that BL dramas are most likely made for homophobic straight cis women who are either fetishizing gay relationship or so immature they get jealous out of straight romance drama. They said it doesn't matter who's the media made for as long as the story resonates with them. Then just like them for me it doesn't matter the reason of censorship as long as the end product erased the romantization of creepy age gap relationship

I agree only if the problematic elements are clearly shown as a bad thing. If that's the case then I am against the censorship. For example if you've seen a movie called Mysterious Skin, it's super fucked up but it clearly shows grooming in a bad light and it educates people about statuary r*pe. I'm okay with such movie existing. Unfortunately the original novel for this drama doesn't seem to address the age difference and instead romanticizes it. In case like this I'm in favor of censorship

Two wrongs don't make a right. Just because there's many pedo-ish straight relationships in media doesn't make the gay ones okay. Both are bad. Netflix shows are always cheap unless it's from big IPs like Stranger Things, One Piece or famous superhero stuff like The Sandman, Daredevil, etc. For those big shows they're willing to pay for decent script and great actors because the fanbase is big. They fumbled with Witcher and recently 3 Body Problems but their more expensive productions are usually great

For cheap Netflix shows sometimes you're lucky to have exceptional writing and acting like Cobra Kai and The Haunting of Hill House. Sometimes you're lucky enough to have new actors that can carry mid writing like Bridgerton, YOU, or teen stuff like Wednesday. But generally Netflix produces way more bad shows over the good ones because Netflix is just that greedy. Even after major success the Bridgerton casts are getting paid dust. Don't expect them to invest more to a kdrama that isn't titled Squid Game

It's the opposite. With the first two episodes, people were expecting this drama to be a good revenge drama only for it to focus on the annoying romance. And then the drama tried its best to put all the disgusting bullies in a good light especially Ri-an, as if he isn't the one who tell the other bullies to beat up Kang Inhan. Kang Ha is barely there in the last two episodes and how the bullies get punishment is so ridiculous too as if a criminal record will do any damage to kids that will inherit big company
