Mostly I'm just disappointed that they didn't show any intimacy between the gay couple. I didn't need to see and see scenes but at least some affection and sleeping together would have been nice.
Though I understand that the series is trying to show the main couple exploring their feelings but kissing lips…
Realize the reality of China in 2000 was actually less restricted than I even now imagine how horrible it must be now and how much people must hide it or do their best to deny it because society tells them is dis gusting and evil. Also these kids are fresh out of high school I hardly knew anything about romance when I was out of high school and I'm in the USA.
