Mostly I'm just disappointed that they didn't show any intimacy between the gay couple. I didn't need to see and see scenes but at least some affection and sleeping together would have been nice.

Realize the reality of China in 2000 was actually less restricted than I even now imagine how horrible it must be now and how much people must hide it or do their best to deny it because society tells them is dis gusting and evil.
