I liked it somehow but the in-laws are reaaaaaaally infuriating for a lot of parts in the series.

Worth the watch but not worth a rewatch for me.

(@ Episode 8)
I’m still watching this series but I can’t help making a review on how annoying the old people are. They have such a close minded thinking. I’m starting to feel frustrated for the FL and ML. I hope it gets better after a few more episodes.

I’ve seen a lot of c-dramas where the parent in-laws are not accepting of the wife/husband, but this series take it on another level. I would have dropped this series if the FL is a not pilot and the ML is a not doctor. I prefer the scenes when it’s just the two of them or when the scenes are focused on their jobs. Thumbs up for that.

Will update my review if I get a better opinion of this. Hopefully, soon.

(@ Episode 20)
I’m still wondering why I’m not dropping this.

How thick headed is the FL’s brother? I can’t take his attitude towards his sister. It’s too much. Yes, he feels inferior to her because she’s successful and all, but there’s a limit to everything. And the father just keep on spoiling him. Ugh. It’s so frustrating.

Cross fingers, it might get better soon.

The chemistry between the FL and ML is what keeps me on watching. They are just so cute.

It got better towards the end which was obviously going to happen. Anyway, it was okay for me. I really loved the fluff of the OTP tho.

I work in the aviation industry so I really like watching dramas that has airplanes in it. Plus medical dramas are my weakness. FL and ML made me want to finish this series so a really big round of applause for them.

Watching this series made me think that there really are toxic people everywhere, closer than you think. Lesson to be learned from this is to make a stand. Don’t let people abuse your kindness, even if they are you’re family. It’s better for them to learn their mistakes from within rather than being ridiculed by outsiders.

Wait. What just happened?

I’m still processing the ending.

I really liked how it was a fluffy youth romance story but the last few episode was such a ride.

I love RuiNing’s character. It is not the usual cutesy dumb FL. She knows when to back down and when to fight for her own. I really like how dignified she is. At the end, I liked how SZ thought that the tables have turned. That since RN donated almost all of her family’s possessions, she became poor. Wooo, how satisfying was the scene at the tea shop? In your face b**ch! Our girl, RN is smart af for investing at the right places. ?

I got really annoyed by how delusional ShenZhen is. She has her own world where everyone and everything is just against her. Though, I felt sad for her. She was very intelligent but so close-minded. She was so sensitive about everything that until the end she was alone. All those negativity, ugh.

Ye Miao and Ye Lin characters were just okay for me because I was more invested on the acting of the girls. But I have to say, the kissing scene at the playground was cute, spiderman kiss! Haha And also how giddy YM was when they found out that they liked each other. I would have liked more fluff thoughhhhh. ?

But really though, the last episodes. My legit reaction was “WTF”. Hahahahaha. It felt rushed. The climax and all that was like sardines in a tin can, jam packed! Wew.

The ending is difficult. After knowing that the mom of the person you love is the one who killed your mom, would you still be able to be together? That’s why I somehow liked the ending. RN said “wo ai ni, ye miao”. But not directly. It can give a couple of interpretation. There’s a possiblity that they will still get together after all that. But it can also be like an “I love you, goodbye” type of thing which totally makes sense.

Anyways, that’s all. I just had to get somethings out. Worth the watch tho! ??

Girl Power! Justice!

I may be biased toward Bok Joo - ya, but this is my cup of tea. Girl power for the win: Lee Sung-kyung, Ra Mi-Ran, Choi Soo-Young, Yeom Hye-Ran, etc. This movie is a complete package. It has depth, humor and more than enough action to keep you watching.

It is really sad how raping someone is being downplayed everywhere. It is always power play. Why is always the victims fault? They are the ones who suffered and is suffering. Nobody can tell what they feel unless being in the same position as them. That's why LSK's monologue, about why did they wanted to be in the police industry, gave me a lot of feels. She was there in the victim's position albeit not being fully violated.

I get a lot of mixed emotions while watching scenes where there's rape, domestic violence or any struggles just by being a woman. Why is it our fault? Why is it that we are the ones who should have done this or done that? Why do others have lots of excuses. Ugh. I know this is a never-ending debate but us girls will never stop speaking for those who are silenced by these kinds of issues.

Sorry, I just had to get some out of my system before watching another movie or series. :)
