why tf does a man have to reflect on that?
??? The women that you described are portrayed as villains most of the time in dramas, the hell are you talking about them being accepted???

For a story supposedly about a hardened general and her quest for revenge, there's a lot of unnecessary fluff…
And the ML's face my GOD. He's so good in How Dare You but here his face just NEVER CHANGES. Always with that blank fucking stare.

For a story supposedly about a hardened general and her quest for revenge, there's a lot of unnecessary fluff and writing decisions that really challenge my suspension of disbelief. How many times do we have to see this war veteran getting black out drunk and acting like a whiny teenager??? Does she, as a disciplined soldier, not have any self control??? If it were any other ordinary person she would have been reprimanded and punished for so much of her disorderly conduct.

I started watching this for the romance but I might just have to start skipping the leads' romance scenes just to get the story moving.

Not sure why but if we look back on TBT, Shen Xi Fan had a lot more internal monologues compared to He Su Ye so…
lmao no I just estimated the percentage based on what I observed😅

Any idea why Xu Huo Ran needed to dub herself when Zhang Ling He only needed to dub about 30% of the time? I've watched some small parts of Huo Ran's other dramas and interviews, and her natural speaking voice isn't bad at all.

Revisiting this drama because this might be my favorite CDrama of all time. It's refreshing to see competent and sociable adults in a budding romance, and also with a bubbly and bright ML instead of the angsty and quite frankly, really rude MLs that have been a trend since forever.

The writing and acting are really competent as well, the cast feel like real people with real stories and problems of their own, and their dialogues flow naturally, which I really appreciate in contrast to the sometime more awkward and stilted dialogues of the more popular idol dramas.

Person Choi Si Won
For people calling him disappointment and canceling him because he is a homophobic: he’s a Protestant Christian.…
This is such an ass take. If your belief helps to perpetuate and normalize discrimination and violence against the marginalized, then you absolutely deserved to be criticized and shamed. Hand waving his bigotry as an innocent "belief" is what allowed the world to carry out such grave injustices against the underprivileged.

First episode in and we have the male lead refusing to release the tied up female lead who was kidnapped and thrown at his home, who promptly after that threatens to molest/rape the woman while she's vulnerable.
