If you've been watching K-movies from a long time ago, you'd know that what you're pointing out was not in K-dramas have been there. It's only the tv censorship that prevented them to show these. Shows not meant for free tv are not shackled by these censorship.

but yeah, if this drama isn't for you just move on, say i. why even rate it low and prevent people who like these kind of drama to think twice because of the mdl rating. it's like going to a rock concert and complaining that it's loud and noisy hahahaha

it's not slow burn. it's a mood piece. slow burn means the events take time but things are moving along... just slow. here, scene are built to give a mood/vibe before moving on as if life goes on slo-mo or pause and it holds you in that moment to marinate in that mood.

This was very much a "mood piece" where it's slow, emotive, visually crafted, and acting from this stellar cast did not disappoint. If you like fast or watch shows sped up, this isn't for you. You'll miss all the subtleties that's part of the show.

My only gripe is that one bgm track that doesn't do it for me but it's on repeat. Love the songs they picked except that one lol And the editing of the investigation vs the sequential narrative pre-finding the trunk. I had to think "ah, this happens during this time" since there was no visual/tone difference. It just took me out of the show a bit to take note of when it fast forwards to those parts.

one thing people don't get with introverts is when they get hyperfocused on "their people". everyone else is just noise except "their people". meaning he can go all out because yongju is part of his circle.

she's a pro sign language interpreter, so she probably knows BSL or vice-versa the ambassador's wife may have learned KSL having to be stuck in the country for years

kr sends materials very close to when it's supposed to be released. kr is paranoid about leaks

I would "forgive" older dramas, but times have changed and we'd rather have an ML who knows how to communicate better. But then that's what makes SML a loser and shouldn't be end game esp for marriage.

Ep5-6 is back to Ep1 setup. Prosecutor working with the bad guys, the cop (now former) and jcw working separately, and a girl caught in the prostitution ring. As if they gained nothing in the past 4 episodes.

I find SFL cute with her crushing on ML, but I still want ML-FL to be end game. SFL acts like a teenager with a crush, so I'm not really shipping them. SML needs to know his place tbvh! The audacity to return after his coward move.

The masked guy was blabbering about how the phone is amazing that it can only call saeon and has a built-in voice modifier, and how whoever got it all planned with the car. So I don't think he's the mastermind. Probably got an earful from mastermind after losing the phone lol and they don't know she has it and has been toying with contract-hubby with it.
