Both. But when Xiao Chun Dr assess her, the camera did show that it was FL’s left hand that have the tendon…
Both got damaged as she gripped the sword with both hands. Chun Doctor just assessed her left hand with what we saw because that's the hand closest to her. Perhaps only the right one needed a splint because she probably gripped harder with it being her stronger hand. some injuries don't need splits if the damage is minor and can heal on its own.

Master Xu is actually a good guy who really wants reforms. But he's a thorn in corrupt Prince Ning's side so needed to be eliminated. As mentioned, it'll be clearer in Episodes 14-15 :-)

It would be remiss not to give proper credit to Chuan Yu as well. He had the perceptiveness to bring his master…
He also keeps updated with what's happening in the other backyard to give JCY info hahaha even Master Wu just giving the two the look knowing they match well. Only JCY and MD are oblivious even making a bet hahaha

It's really a pleasure to the eyes to see a properly done Tang dynasty drama. I feel this era is rarely being…
There's a new-ish rule in China where dramas can't be longer than 40 episodes. So if it was written for 40+ episodes, they cut it into two parts. You will notice a lot of older dramas having 40+ episodes especially epic or xianxia ones.

nah. it's because some folks downvoted all episodes until 32 affecting the mdl rating.
nobody should believe in mdl's flawed ratings.

I loved how without saying it out loud jcy is telling her he knows she saw him and her telling him that despite that she won't tell. so they come to a mutual understanding on this issue.

yeah!! I wanted to ask whether he leaves or not mu dan is not married to him ??coz just watched till ep 6
mudan got the court to stamp their divorce papers, but liu chang burned that document before stamping it with his seal. then mudan faked her death making him technically her widower 😹 since mudan assumed another name registry when she moved to chang'an, she's no longer he weifang. but she's still alive.
so... long story short, i really don't know what their official/registered status is.

No I don't think so. JCY killed a masked man. That masked man may or may not have already killed Xu by the time…
Yup. Aside from JCY killing the masked assassin, folks missed two things (1) Xu only shown bumping his head on the rock with no blood, and (2) the dead Xu and guards were beyond recognition when found floating in the river.

JCY killed the assassin (the man was wearing a mask too) while Official Wu was only knocked out after hitting his head. Official Wu and his guards' dead bodies were found floating in the river beyond recognition to hide the fact that he is still alive.

Love the fact that Mudan sees Liu Chang for what he is: a selfish man who cares not about her as a person. While he may be better than Wang Qing, he's still an AH

I believe even in ancient civilization, it is possible to cut ties with one's family. But for him to do so would make him lose his noble status, and we can see that he thinks he's all that because he's smart and a noble. So I don't think it would ever cross his mind to do that, and be fine with pitying himself and playing like a victim of circumstance.

latest episodes, why is she still answering to and telling ppl her name is Mudan? People want to kill you.. HELLO?
In the novel, it's explained that her nickname is Mudan but though it means peony, it doesn't sound very elegant so her real name registered is Weifang although her family continued to call her Mudan.

excerpt:
Mudan was just her childhood name; her formal name was He Weifang, though it carried the same meaning. “Among all flowers in the west, only the peony is supreme.” He Weifang’s father treasured her, believing no other name could do her justice—only the king of flowers, the peony, was worthy. However, feeling that “Mudan” lacked elegance as a formal name, he chose “Weifang” for official use, while the family continued to call her Mudan in private.
