Hyerang you b*!!! &^&%^%$!#&*#&)@^@$^#&#*(@&*$&^@^! !!!!!!!!

The ending of episode 8 was so heart breaking. I cried so much and waited for Ep9 preview to get hope but there was none (that was good editing choice now that I think about it). But will have to wait a full week to find out what happens next.

My take on this is:When viewed as a tragedy, episodes 1-10 were 9.5 out of 10 (only subtracting .5 because the…
Episodes 1-10 were focused on tragedies that can befall the FL whose only light is her other personality and how utterly flawed ML is because of his family history... then they turned tables to push the love conquers all narrative in the last 2 episodes in the quickest possible way that you get whiplash from the change.

I disliked the ML as well. Stereotypical Korean drama character. Rude but seemingly self sacrificial, does not…
this works if you see the ML as the typical alpha male werewolf in those kinds of stories hahahaha everyone follows him, he's rude but it's okay, he gets away with being controlling, etc

It had some meaning but then it lost it's meaning
it pulled us in then it let us down.
it's not rocket science why people are mad at how poorly the later episodes were written versus the strong start-to-mid parts.

i really liked this drama from the start. but in the middle it started going downhill. ML didn't deserve FL. Pathetic…
The ending they wanted to show was not earned. They spent too much time focusing on the traumas (and it was beautifully and emotionally laid out) that the resolution fell flat and wrapped up too quickly to be satisfying.

Hyeon Oh: *breaths*Viewers: RED FLAG, RED FLAG!! He's the most horrible being on earth!! TOXIC, INSENSITIVE ✊️Ju…
The difference is that the writer is pairing FL with Hyun Oh. So we are calling it out.
Ju Yeon's red flag indicators don't matter anymore because he's not going to be with FL anyway.

Gotta give credit to the first 9 eps
you know how in makjang soap operas you have this senseless petty villain who makes the protagonist thru all sorts of shit that the protag would go on a vengeance spree? here the villain is the writer and i as a viewer want to go on a vengeance spree with the crap she had the fl and us go thru. hahaha

tbh i don't understand the writer's intent to push FL into another mental breakdown as if developing DID was not enough but she had to reach a point where Eunho basically wanted to be unalive and let her Hyeri persona take over. Then she goes missing for a month and comes back as Eunho.

not their Audio editing team. That one was sloppy. At first I thought they were trying to create an auditory trick, but nah it was just sloppy work.

I wonder what happened to this girl suddenly.
writer loves to use mental illness as a plot device so it's possible. i hope the writer knows how bad this is written so she can improve, but unless she's adapting like WTWIF, i won't come near her work.

we don't want perfect characters, we want better writing.
what do you mean I wanted a perfect tv station? the writer's depiction was totally unrealistic. what tv station operates like that? the male protag says something and nobody questions and everyone obeys. that's worse writing than most wattpad stories. the writing here is so very terrible. i think people should understand that the audience are worth more than shitty writing.

we don't want perfect characters, we want better writing.
how are we supposed to accept that a female protagonist in psychological duress (sent to the brink of the worst and worst possible scenarios by the writer) will best heal together with a male protagonist (who in their relationship even after break up is controlling, emotionally manipulative, and narcissistic with very little writing to show he will change)? i've seen this king of relationship dynamic in real life. it does not work. and when you see the kind of pit of despair and lasting psychological trauma of being with a narcissist... this kind of writing is deplorable and should not even reach any audience.

love is possible for sick people, yes. but you do not join this two kinds of flawed individuals and pretend that love conquers all and they will find healing and live happily ever after.

If you want a Shin Haesun drama with flawed ML and FL, watch Thirty but Seventeen.
For this one, the writer did us all dirty including the actors.

people can't even understand how a tv station can make decisions solely based on ML's word. move the show to noon. give the segment to eunho. shoot it in a day instead so you don't stay overnight. keep eunho's spot in the show. like who is he, the son of the tv station owner? how is this good writing?
worse yet how the characters are written and how mental illness is relegated to a plot device.

dear producers, please don't waste your money making these kinds of plot and shitty writing. don't waste audience's valuable time. it's so disrespectful to the audience. anybody who tries to justify this writing don't value their time.

Domestically it's doing great but internationally it's not getting much attention. Hope more people will watch…
Pansori is not a popular form of theater for international fans. Since it's the main aspect of the show, it's best not to expect it to get as much attention as let's say "Love Next Door" or "Judge From Hell". What more, this is not set in modern (recent) times. The GL subtext in the drama might also push others away. Jeongnyeon doesn't have the usual drama tropes that easily gets attention from the get-go. D+ knows this too coz they don't seem to spend marketing money on it for the international audience.

That said, it's up to us viewers who enjoy it to recommend it to others to get more people to watch it. I'm totally enjoying it but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea.

Just to let some people know, this drama was promoted by the writer herself to be about exploring pain and then…
I think it was after Episode 8 that someone here commented "the writer must hate eunho". It wasn't enough that she was broken enough to develop DID but she was broken time and again to barely function as Eunho by Episode 9. We had to watch Eunho get broken in many ways for weeks, but are asked to hope for growth and healing within two episodes. And not just for her but also for Hyunoh.
