I watched the trailer again, I think Hyeon O will blame himself when he finds out about Eun Ho's condition + I…
It would be strange if you felt chemistry with EunHo and JuYeon. Split personality means Hyeri is like a totally different person. This is why everyone is praising Shin Hae Sun's acting because you feel that EunHo and JuYeon doesn't have chemistry but Hyeri and JuYeon does.
4 years ago from present, Eunho and HyunOh broke up. They were dating for 8 years. If the current year of the drama is 2024, then they started dating in 2012. Eunho already got accepted as an announcer before Hyeri disappeared (in her diary) Hyeri got lost during her college graduation trip in 2014. Their grandma passed away 5 years after in 2019 (the letter declaring Hyeri dead shows 5 years but not subtitled). The drama opens up with scenes of Eunho and HyunOh dating in 2015-2018. Eunho found Hyeri's diary and worked at the Media N parking lot. She was already working at PPS and asked for the morning radio show. She knowingly did that for 3 years (2019-2022 or 2020-2023).
Now she has DID. Hyeri became another personality outside of Eunho. She's been seeing her doctor for 2 months already by Ep1.
Also this means HyunOh was already part of EunHo's life when Hyeri disappeared. And still together when Hyeri was declared dead and her grandma passed away. But it seems shortly after, they broke up. And then in sadness, EunHo tried to do what Hyeri said she wanted to do (come to think of it, that's like JuYeon becoming an announcer).
We still don't know what triggered the personality split.
Middle of Ep5... Go away Hyun-oh! Shoo! Why even are you hovering her after breaking her heart?
Finished Ep5... I still don't like HO. I don't care what emotional wound he has, but hovering her while he considered her needing him is not healthy for EH. Had EH taken him back, she would just get hurt. It's a fragile stability that won't help EH's DID. Meanwhile I miss JY-HR. Especially how JY allows himself to be vulnerable in front of HR.
I'm annoyed that the ML almost has this martyr complex where he only seems to be living for these 2 girls and…
I think psychologically, he lead himself to believe that he was guilty otherwise why would he be in prison. Only he doesn't remember it. So all these 11 years his only thought has been to find the girls to the point of dreaming about BY asking him to find her. He was young when it happened and it's easy to create a "reason" for things to be the way they are so it makes sense. Feeling wronged would have meant he had a strong sense of self which he did not. It is only when he confronted HT that he asks if the guy he thought of as an uncle never thought about him and his family. It would seem right that the feeling of being wronged came to him slowly, eroding the idea that it all happened because he had done wrong that he held on for so long.
I just found out: Additionally, the plot vividly depicted the darker sides of humanity, such as victim mentality, lies, and distrust, through events in a small-town community, presenting a compelling narrative. This reflects the know-how of the production team, who have focused on Korean-style thrillers such as Save Me 1, 2 and The King of Pigs, implemented with director Byun Young-joo's unique sensuous direction, with hidden foreshadowing throughout the scenes that endlessly stimulated viewers' curiosity for mystery. The music that accompanied the scenes also brought the atmosphere of the drama to life, enhancing the overall experience.
I want it to end but also don't want it to end. This is just a well-written suspense thriller (makes me want to get the novel tbvh). Can we get a special with just JW and SC chilling together with no looming case to solve and showing JW finally get a normal life in Seoul?
Or a season 2 with JW and SC in Seoul off to solve another old murder (HAHAHA)
As we don't know if Hyeri is dead or alive, she would be alive. She's now Hye Yeon, but lost her memory after she…
hye yeon tho comes from a rich family (remember the press chief said that in their dinner ep4) and doesn't come off as someone who was adopted (hyeri disappeared as an adult) or with her memories lost.
How does she hold 2 full-time jobs being 2 different people???? Her personality switching seems random too. Everytime…
the parking lot job is just part-time. how can she hold a spot for JY? his show is 8pm news, he comes in late afternoon. so it fits hyeri's part time work sched of late afternoon to night.
