I can't help but suspect that either the 1FL or the 2FL is an alter ego of the writer. They story of both characters…
From what I read, the writer was also a divorce attorney, so there's a lot of experience to draw from. "The series was written by Choi Yu-na, a divorce lawyer and writer, who is well known to the public through the divorce empathy Instatoon Marriage Red..."
This was a good light and cozy drama. It's not perfect or created something new and groundbreaking, but it gives a satisfaction that you did not waste your time watching. The characters evolved and became better versions of themselves by the end of the story.
shes from a wealthy family maybe all she knows is a business marriages. though your right, another indicator TYH…
even when she poured her heart out to rao jing later on like how she started liking jyh was assessing his merits but not personality wise. he studies well, he wrote his paper on new year instead of seeing the fireworks, all that. like listing positive traits for a job opening hahaha
Tbh I don't really find FL's best friend relationship necessary to the plot, I think the story will not be affected…
I don't know why cdramas like having 3 couples hahaha like this was done to make a quota lol like you said, it adds nothing to the plot itself. a FL bestfriend who does not give bad relationship advice is a win in itself; they could've stopped there
I hate love triangles, too, but it's an insult to the term itself to consider that girl part of anything. She's…
"Unrequited love doesn't have to be toxic." Exactly. And unrequited love also is not always so 'romantic' and ideal. By having TYH, that message becomes clear. That it does not idealize or put on the pedestal the idea of first love, unrequited love.

When you think about it, TYH's infatuation for JYH is similar to JYH's infatuation for TXN. The events that made an impression are only remembered by the other one. I thought about this in Ep23 when JYH told TXN that the hero saves the beauty didn't make an impression on him to remember it.
JYH even did so many things to get into TXN's life. Joining the speed dating to meet her. Even talking to her parents for marriage without her knowing.
But the difference is JYH let TXN decide and didn't get too pushy with her to like him back. TYH on the other hand has been rejected multiple times but won't back off.

Give the b* her dream and snatch it away
Boss girl 👸🏻
Such a badass move!!!
so you're pickier with the actress than the drama itself which is totally fine, but be self-aware about it
