I know a lot of people turned away from this because of a cheating spouse plot. But if you're not totally repulsed just by the idea of that, then give this one a try. In terms of the divorce cases, I like how they don't delve into breaking the marriage but it's about the family - the spouses and their children. They are also able to tie up the divorce cases versus CEK's own divorce proceedings that both sides of the story progresses (we see HYR slowly coming to terms on being a divorce lawyer and the boys of Daejung Divorce team). It is able to talk about law while being very human in its treatment. The actors are all delivering their roles really well especially Jang Nara. By Ep8, you'll have some emotional attachment to the characters.
If there was one complaint, it's Yuri-EunHo game that's being set up but it's not landing for me.
She was totes lying to her parents. It's funnier cos ML already approached FL's parents before and telling them…
No, they are not his accomplice. Remember that they told him that when it comes to their daughter's relationship, they want her to make the decision. So ML approached FL on his own. I know the subs are horrid, but to not understand that means you weren't really watching
Company policy. And one that actually exists in many contemporary companies (to prevent s-harassment and unfair…
She's not a regular employee yet, so she doesn't get a bonus for her performance. That's why her first step KPI is to get regularized, then get x amount of deposits.
EP 3 (FML to her parents + ML)FML: "There is something that I haven’t told you. Actually I’ve had a crush…
She was totes lying to her parents. It's funnier cos ML already approached FL's parents before and telling them everything, that's why their reaction was like that.
I really think Weiyi deserves someone who can wake her up back into reality, someone who can slap her in the face…
Yes, I don't think it would work out for both of them.
I get that Qi Yu sacrificed going to the city to be with her, but he is his father's son. You can see how traditional they think with who should be providing the money. That if he lets Weiyi spend her father's money, it would make him have a "matriarchal" family.
Weiyi also tried to live off her wage only. But to restrict herself from the things that she likes having been exposed to the finer things in life, it's also tiring for her. All that self-imposed restriction to not bruise Qi Yu's ego eventually implodes.
Unless Qi Yu meets her halfway when it comes to financial aspect, it won't work out. Let her spend her father's money as long as he's not the one dictating when and where she spends it. It's hers to do with and not his business. I think Weiyi understands that he can't give her that richy-rich life and she never asked him to.
In the end, it's hard to see things work out for them.
I can't help but suspect that either the 1FL or the 2FL is an alter ego of the writer. They story of both characters…
From what I read, the writer was also a divorce attorney, so there's a lot of experience to draw from. "The series was written by Choi Yu-na, a divorce lawyer and writer, who is well known to the public through the divorce empathy Instatoon Marriage Red..."
This was a good light and cozy drama. It's not perfect or created something new and groundbreaking, but it gives a satisfaction that you did not waste your time watching. The characters evolved and became better versions of themselves by the end of the story.
shes from a wealthy family maybe all she knows is a business marriages. though your right, another indicator TYH…
even when she poured her heart out to rao jing later on like how she started liking jyh was assessing his merits but not personality wise. he studies well, he wrote his paper on new year instead of seeing the fireworks, all that. like listing positive traits for a job opening hahaha
Tbh I don't really find FL's best friend relationship necessary to the plot, I think the story will not be affected…
I don't know why cdramas like having 3 couples hahaha like this was done to make a quota lol like you said, it adds nothing to the plot itself. a FL bestfriend who does not give bad relationship advice is a win in itself; they could've stopped there
