I've often been not keen on teen adventure stories lately coz I can't with them being stupid naive kids, but I recognize that that's how they can be lol and I accept my age double-lol

So I give teen characters some leeway to do stupid things and act stupid... and while Sun Hui is frustrating, she has been quite sheltered after getting adopted.

thankfully, kdramas haven't spent multiple eps on childhood for many years now. so i'm hopeful they'll only focus on the main bits and maybe some flashbacks kind of storytelling.

JDoramas do the rookie-veteran dynamic better with the Rookie having that fresh, overly-driven, wanting-to-prove-self kind of energy while the Veteran is more set-in-ways, don't-like-changes, so-done-with-the-world kind of energy.

KDrama's naive idealistic rookie tend to feel out-of-touch most of the time.

Or maybe that's how young 'uns are these days hahahahahahHAHAHAHA
