Even if he finds out that she's his shifu, he has long passed the respect-only stage. The only way out of his crazy obsession is for he himself to recognize it, stop himself, and let go. I don't feel bad for him. He has seen how the princess said she'd die with NYZ. If he still tries to take the princess by force, it is his downfall.

And we were looking out that window too, at YY and RRY. Director and writer and AF executed that so well!

We've reached midpoint with NYZ near death experience and RRY having to face how much NYZ means to her. They can only be stronger from this point on.
Even though I knew NYZ won't die yet (too many scenes in spoilers not yet shown), Ep20 put me on the edge. Eps 19-20 was worth the 2-day wait.

Been through this with Chang Chen being too old in Love and Destiny. Even Ni Ni was criticized for being square faced for a fairy role. In the end, L&D went to be nominated for International Emmys. So don't be bothered by them naysayers. AJTL is top drama in china now. Let's enjoy the drama that these cast and crew worked hard on together.

We're seeing more of the way Crimson Guards under RX worked. Such great minds. I want more.

RRY got so disappointed with LTG. She repeated it "he didn't learn anything"
LTG is spiraling out of control after seeing RRY and NYZ acknowledges this. Glad our Power CP are thinking on their feet.

he ended up getting caught up in the curse though. when you have strong intent and blood, that's strong recipe for curses to be effective.

It's actually interesting approach for the writer. We were shown a character who's strong willed, but now we're at odds with him having shown such a strong weakness. We don't know how this will turn out, so we'll be paying attention. Is it a bait the writer is setting up? Is it a true weakness and he falls short of our expectations?
Meanwhile Chief Sec Du wants to exploit this weakness, NYZ is wary of him, RRY seems to think she can handle him, everyone else is worried about NYZ being jealous.

Same. Was too focused on their conversation and expression, if I did notice anything off with their walk I must've quickly dismissed it. LYN really showed dedication to still continue filming even with a broken foot.

he's not interested in the Chu princess, but agreed to it because he knows it improves his position and a step closer to being Secretary General. He's also been stringing Consort Chu along to help with his goal. He only really formed an attachment to his shifu who lo and behold appeared alive before him.

I haven't watched a drama written by the screenwriter, and it's an original screenplay at that. So we can only hope. So far she seems to be handling tropes well with enjoyable twists.

I think it'll speed up their journey to get to An where we'll see a bit more political maneuverings. LTG seems to know how to play with Emperor Wu and also got Emperor An's trust, so he's a major player here. He seemed to want to have a position to end the war, but I wonder if his obsession with RRY will change that goal for him.
