I just read that too. I'm a little scared for the ending. I hope that my ship (primarily the main couple) in this Jdrama will be happy. I will mentally prepare myself for ep 10, as well as ep 9 since I haven't watch that ep yet.
Our two leads are looking good and Shun with his hair up is....yeah, I'm melting. It's the summer heat lol:https://www.instagram.com/p/CQLYUcNj8zw/?utm_medium=copy_linkhttps://www.instagram.com/p/CQK0fPXjV2m/?utm_medium=copy_link
I highly recommend you check out these Jdramas below. Since there are some minor spoilers in my explanations,…
Here is a list of Jdramas that I highly recommend (has similar genres, vibes, character personalities, themes and/or character development as Kikazaru Koi niwa Riyuu ga Atte).
-Jimi ni Sugoi! (Pretty Proofreader) and the special episode. This Jdrama focuses more on the female lead's job than the romance between her and the male lead. However, the main female lead (Kouno Etsuko) is very straight-forward, hard working at her job as a proofreader, and comical. She made me laugh so much and both her mindset and decisions are inspirational. She even has an amazing fashion sense too. Moreover, I think I'm one of the few fans who actually like the guy (Orihara Yukito) she ends up with because of his calm and kind personality. He is supportive and caring to the female lead with her career and decisions. The fansubber was mikilove13, but I couldn't find her episodes on her official website. The link to the official website is here: https://mikilove13fs.livejournal.com/ If you can't access the episodes on her website either, episodes with english subtitles can be found through Dramacool. Search the episodes using the title, "Jimi ni Sugoi."
For the special (final) episode, I found a link to it with english subtitles here: https://kissasian.li/Drama/Jimi-ni-Sugoi-Koetsu-Garu-Kono-Etsuko-Special Once you click the link on the page, you will be asked to answer a question that involves picking pictures. After that, you will have access to the page with the episode. *I'm sorry that I made a mistake with the link earlier, but I fixed it. I hope this link works now.
-30-sai made Dotei Da to Mahotsukai ni Nareru rashii (Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!). This is a wholesome Jdrama depicting healthy relationships for both romantic relationships and friendships (Fujisaki is the best girl), demonstrating great character development for the main lead (Adachi), and it teaches valuable life lessons. Plus, Adachi gains the power to read people's minds whenever he touches them. This is my favorite BL (Boy Love) series of all time because of how healthy the couples are by empathizing consent and patience in any situation. The main couple takes things slow as well. The character, Kurosawa, is husband material in my opinion. If you're okay with watching two guys get together, you are welcome to check this series out. English subtitles were created by IrozukuSubs. They posted the episodes on their website. You can find them here. -Love Shuffle. I love the friendship chemistry between the 4 main leads who live in the same condominium. Great use of comedy. I also like how this Jdrama explores different perspectives of love and certain relationships. After rewatching this recently, I realize that the psychiatrist character performed more unethical actions on the job. When I watched it the first time, I recognized that some of his actions were weird and unusual, but I didn't know there were much more unethical scenes. Despite that, it was still fun to watch anyway. The fansubber was Querbeet Subs, but I couldn't access the episodes on their website. The link to their official website is here. Keep clicking "previous" or "next" to navigate the site: https://querbeetsubs.livejournal.com/3262.html If you have trouble finding the episodes too, they can also be found on Dramacool. Search with the title, "Love Shuffle."
-Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (The Wallflower). This particular jdrama teaches life lessons about learning to love yourself and overcoming past trauma. It is a reverse harem, but only one of the male leads actually falls for the female lead. I wish there were more romantic scenes though. On the other hand, I enjoyed the comedy, friendship, supernatural parts, and character development here. The female lead can fight well in many scenes. The fansubber was GiriGiri Fansubs. They posted links to the episodes, but it didn't work for me. I posted the link to their official website of the fansubber here: https://girigiri-subs.livejournal.com/tag/yamanade If you can't access the episodes on their website either, episodes can be found on Dramacool. Search with the title, "Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge."
*Definition of reverse harem: consists of one female protagonist and three or more male love interests.
If you're interested in seeing Jdrama with more action & comedy, you can check: -Kamen Rider Build. I like the bromance between the main leads (Sento and Banjo), the cool suit designs, CGI effects, action scenes, comedic moments and fast moving storyline with plot twists. There are also movies to watch after the series ends that takes place in different time periods from this Jdrama. My favorite movies are Kamen Rider Build the Movie: Be the One and Kamen Rider Build NEW WORLD: Kamen Rider Grease (which includes the special story in the beginning of the movie called I Heard the Idol Otaku is Dating His Fav). Episodes can found here: https://toku.fun/post/watch-online-kamen-rider-build-full-series-49-episodes-english-sub
This is only my 3rd jdrama and i am in LOVE!😍 Its a bit sad it is ending next week! 😭Could anyone please…
I highly recommend you check out these Jdramas below. Since there are some minor spoilers in my explanations, I'll post it separately with the spoiler tag.
I wish there were more dramas that projected the way counsellors / mental health professionals work accurately.…
I enjoy reading your comments from this drama. I thought the scenes in Ep 5 demonstrated ways of how to set boundaries for a relationship, specifically between a counselor and their patient/client. But can you elaborate on how Haruto addressed the whole situation of the client liking him was unethical please? Was it the way he assumed or suspected she had feelings for him? Or how he communicated with her at Shun's food truck? Or some other situation?
For those who already watched Ep 6, did anyone catch what Shun said in the batting cage? The english subtitles got cut off in the end from the video file that I watched. I mistakenly used the wrong raw file to watch along with the english subtitles.

Good to know! Its been a long time since I watched it. I might re-watch the drama again to see how the psychiatrist performed his job. I'll see what he did right, wrong and/or unusual.
A couple of years ago, I watched this Japanese drama called Love Shuffle and the character, Masato Kikuta portrayed a psychiatrist. I was not entirely sure if the drama represented the profession accurately, but I still enjoyed watching the series. If you're interested in the plot, you are welcome to check it out.
Plot of Love Shuffle: After four of the main characters found out they live together in the same condominium and familiarized themselves with each other, they decided to participate in a game (I think they refer to it as Love Shuffle), where they swap partners with each other every week. In total, there were eight individuals who participated.
