After Goblin in 2016, he also acted as a righteous doctor in Life (2018), a psycho killer in Strangers from Hell…
Those are his most famous roles. Both od them, they are starter kdramas for pretty much everyone, so they are frequently mentioned. But that hardly means he is typecasted.
It definetely was supposed to 'bring ground breaking changes', because the plot revolves around the bullying a…
I am fangirl. In fact, I rarely even watch straight dramas these day. But I am not an idiot. I loved bromance after it aired, but I have been defending here since way before the drama aired.
My stance has always been wait and watch. The only time I spoke against it was at the very beginning the news of it's censorship first came out. That was because the rumours said that they said it straight-washed it, as in they introduced a female love interest. Apart from that, I have always supported this.
"Don't piss me off"... Oooooooooo now I'm so scared. Whachu gonna do?
Strange. I remember watching the kiss scenes (cut scenes) in a separate video on the official YouTube channel,…
They took down a lot of bls after the censorship laws, and cleaned them up. I was lucky enough to save an uncut version of one of my favs before the purge. Now, u can only find the censored version, even on the pirate sites.
No. It's an adaptation of a bl/gay novel called Gangster becomes a Highschooler. Very similar plot, but instead of the old guy getting together with the mother and young guy with the classmate/crush, they combined it and the old guy falls for the classmate.
But I think gangster soul leaves at the end and original soul (bullied guy) gets woth the classmate at the end.

The plot does revolve around the homophobia and gay bullying. It's subtle, people who can understand it did. Yiheon diary literally says he was bullied for being a "stalker" of a male classmate. "Samajne wale ko ishara kafi hai" (an insider can even understand even a subtle hint). I understood it. KDP understood it. Anyone who has lived in a conservative country where homosexuality is criminalised and/or a social taboo and/or anyone who has faced similar bullying understands it.
Sekyung is deeply closeted. His father is conservative man who thinks his son should do everything the right way. According to conservatives, homosexuality is NOT the right way. I understand it because I have lived it and fought it. So, SeKyung, can only hint and subtext. We are barely 2 eps in. This drama has 8 episodes. They might be more than friends by the end of it.
They don't need to kiss and screw to show they are a couple. Most couples in conservative countries - gay OR straight - would'nt. You don't need to kiss or make declarations to be a couple.
The only people who are crying for "representation" are bl fangirls who want to see two mainstream actors make out on screen. But that won't happen if they want to work in mainstream again.
Is it good? Objective answers only, please. I don't care about the changes to the original BL story.
Action and bromance is sooooooo good, it's making me depressed because I got impatient. Usually my impatient ass waits till a drama completes but I was trying to rub in the faces of anti-s and started it early. Now, it's like a drug or something, and I'm getting withdrawal symptoms.
The only other time that happened was while watching WOH (it was hell because that drama has like 50 episodes). Thankfully, this has only 8.

And if it was never that deep, u would'nt be wasting your time spamming the comments section.

In drama, they just have a bromance though
