Care to share what your say...top three fave BLs are?
Also, I am in the tongue or bust category. I'd rather have them stare meaningfully at each other and hug/hi-fi than the weirdass dead-fish-lip-touching while the camera basically shoves in their faces from 4. DIFFERENT. ANGLES. Showing them slomo lip-touching over and over from different angles doesnt make it romantic, it makes it disturbing.
Some of the best examples of on-screen kissing were in ULS, ODS and Happy Merry Ending. A soft peck to ask for consent, then separate for a breath and jump right in. The others were too dead-fish or forgettable.

Ah.... I was halfway through writing the comment when someone called so I closed the page and forgot about it. Idk how it even got posted.
Anyways, I was writing the exact opposite of what u wrote. I prefer shows where they have meaningful and in-depth/affectionate relationship with each other regardless of what they call it. Kissing, etc is a bonus but not needed. Maybe it is a psychological shadow from being a slash-shipper for almost 20yrs, but as long as there is no female love interest "to counter-balance the bromance" idc. In fact, I rather prefer shounen Ai (bromance) to outright yaoi.
My absolute favourite BL to date is Winter Begonia. The love they have for each other, even though one is already married and has a child, transcends everything. I am not really a fan of the novel, but not showing the physical relationship makes their "soulmate" relationship in the drama much more meaningful; because in the novel, ML is basically a cheating scum and MC is an "opera singer" (i.e. prostitute, because most opera singers ran a side business), whereas in the drama he connects with the MC on a much deeper level than just physical or monetary. The subject is way too heavy for casual recommendation, but if u have time just give it a watch.
I feel like the Eighth Sense set the bar too high and now it's tough to fully enjoy other KBLs...
Eighth Sense is way too much like old western coming out/coming of age dramas for my taste. It's probably good for the new kids, but I prefer the ones where they are adults and settled in their sexuality
I know. It's the same for me. I love Zuho and I was kinda looking forward to him bringing all that charishma and…
Lmao yeah. I was pretty surprised that they somehow managed to find someone TALLER to play his love interest. But it makes sense in a way. Those Coconut and Palm trees match each other lmao.

When I read that he was cast a high school student, my first reaction was that damn coconut tree is gonna scare the shit out of any actual high schooler in the cast lmao.
im a huge fantasy since easy love and i just cant imagine zuho in this setting i mean his acting isnt bad yknow…
I know. It's the same for me. I love Zuho and I was kinda looking forward to him bringing all that charishma and chemistry of SF9 to a bl show but. It's just not vibing. It's not a bad show but it's forgettable. I wanted to see him in a more defined drama like Unforgettable Love or ODS or something. The guy is almost 30, he should have taken a more mature role. I mean, he CAN handle it.
It sounds like what Hwarang pulled - FL was in love with the guy SHE THOUGHT was her brother, but he really wasnt so they hooked up. Not my thing eitherways.
I read the synopsis of the drama. It's kinda confusing since this article says the sister was kidnapped, but the drama page says the brother was. The main relationship is incest (step or whatever) is not my thing, so ima giving this a miss anyways.
Not a remake. That show was a procedural and the leads were actual brothers - one FBI, other consultant. This sounds more like accountant version of Suits.
