I really wish CGY has said “ Yuemu”, but what he actually said is “伯母” which also means a-yi/aunty.
I guess I can finally die in piece. I had narrowed the options down to FuMu (PhuMu), Wu Mu, Pu Mu and of course, Yu(e) Mu. Yue Mu made most sense, so I stuck with that

Pinyin please. I cant read kanji.
Also, I am pretty sure he said "Pu Mu" as in Pu-mama. (I slept after writing the comment, was watching the scene in toilet this morning coz net was down). There's also probably regional dialect at play.
Wife's mother LOL. And nobody told PYY he got married yet :D
I dont think he is all that innocent either. The comic he has been drawing since high school is about a mullet wearing superhero and his nerdy sidekick who looks disturbingly similar to CGY. Plus, CGY said to PYY dad/grandpa that "this comic refers to my high school life, and also my heart (while we see the other drawing PYY drew for him placed in his phone case). PYY was also the first to sleep in CGY's bedroom because he didn't wanna deal the voices (he could have slept in another room or gone to his friend's house). Hell, he could have used the door like a normal person as CGY dad said. He didn't specifically HAVE to climb in through the window of a guy he supposedly hates.
who was the guy that got pushed down from the top by the security officer? what was their story about?
Grandfather was kinda like PYY when he was young. He saw the murderer's pot had grown a heart after years of guilty confessions, so he directly confronted the murderer and told him to confess, resulting in "getting killed". That's why, when he realised that PYY had the same powers (see ghosts/obsessions), he started discouraging him from interfering.
However, PYY was smart enough to get the cops involved.
He was a volunteer at a children's home. From personal experience, people generally drop their guard when you tell them u work with kids or animals, esp abused ones. Plus, he gave the impression that he was hitting on her and using the cakes as an excuse to meet her.
Cao Guangyan/Pu Yiyong IS canon. I was just rewatching the final episode and noticed that during the tomb visit, CGY refers to PYY 's mom as yuemu. The general term for un/related older women (aunty) is A-yi (soz for the pinyin) and Yuemu (岳母) specifically refers to mother-in-law or rather WIFE'S MOTHER in an informal way.
This comes from my limited knowledge of chinese from Cdramas and g.translate. If it is wrong, please correct me.
Definitely need another season. I kinda see potential between One1 (chief) and 1-per. Guayang and Yiyong ship…
The whole block has seen YY climbing out of GY's bedroom window in the morning on multiple occasions. If he is a man, he needs to take the damn responsibility lmfao.
Kappa thing is sort of a joke because Kappa was having pink hearts, googly eyes moment holding YY jacket in ep1. Kappa likes him but it is ultimately a supernatural being, so it left. Chuying sorta ships it because she sent over the submerged Kappa statue to him and his mom signed for it. Kappa is basically YY housewife approved by mom and elder sis lmao.

I get what you mean. When the baker with too sweet cakes showed up, my first thought was "arsanic"? The baker was cute but to a seasoned procedural watcher, that guy pinged every single red flag. I was kinda thrown off a bit when they played romantic bgm for him and Chuying in the final ep (when she tells him about YY sight) and I desperately hoped he wasnt the killer
LMFAO to your alternative career plan for the actors. They are in fact, members of the same idol group (Dayeol is the eldest/leader, Taehyun is the maknae) called OmegaX.
They were recently in the news bécause their former CEO (female) was physically and sexually abusing them (the leader being the biggest victim) and they were freed only because of kpop-fan efforts (a crazy rabbit hole if u are interested that sort of makes me hopeful for humanity) and this is their first work post scandal.
Sympathy vote aside (I am not a fan, but they debuted on my birthday so I have kinda follow them since the beginning), it really isn't a good drama lmao.
But atleast the OST (composed and sung by the group) is good.
1. Baker boy was a serial killer who started in his teens, killing his brother. His obsession was with putting…
The Ink Lady is a 1000-yr old Guayin lotus (the antique she gave Yiyong at the end) which belongs to the CGY's drunk landlord (I kinda want more of HER backstory). The drunk landlord/her parents hid the figure in the ruins where doll victim died, probably when she was younger.
When PYY smashes the baker with the antique, old lady tells Grandpa that she always wanted to punch someone and YU finally fulfilled her wish. The demolishers at the end inform the landlord that there is nothing hidden under the ruins (YY had already dug it up) and she starts crying about how she will face her late parents because she lost the 1000-yr Guayin lotus (heirloom?)
I wonder if the simplest solution to ink lady's problem is simply smashing that antique lmao.
Ugh I'm still here rewatching Guangyan's cries and screams of desperation. His amazing acting during that scene.…
Definitely need another season. I kinda see potential between One1 (chief) and 1-per. Guayang and Yiyong ship sailed in the silent night - him visiting the family memorial and the drawing kept in his mobile. I wonder if Yiyong knows they are already married or not, but mom has clearly given her approval.
While we are at it, my other ship - Yiyong and his first true love, the Kappa, also sailed. He woke up because of him lmao.
I hope s2 explores more of all the relationship dynamics (my fujoshi heart wants a bl, but this fine too).
If someone tell you have a "wicked disease" and "terrible disease" and you are rejected by society to have some…
Being a caregiver is hard. I have watched a lot of families actually wishing death on their loved ones because living was suffering. Earlier, Euthanasia used to be called mercy death and it is still called so in layman's language here. "Mela tar sutel" (if he dies, he will be free) is a common sentiment when u can only helplessly watch ur loved ones wasting away minute by minute.
And no, maybe sometimes kids in love dont really want to know or accept the reality of what's it's like to be married or responsible for people with chronic illnesses and it is upto the patient to be completely honest with their potential partners, no matter how hard it is. If someone doesn't want to deal with it, dont force your condition on them.
True. That's actually the reality of ppl with chronic Illnesses ... But i think when it's in TV it would be better…
I dont agree with it sorry. Not everyone can, should or needs to accept a partner with chronic or genetic illness that may or may not be hereditary. Also, just because u CAN manage a chronic condition, doesn't mean that it is easy to do so. There is a ton of work and lifestyle changes involved and not everybody is equipped to deal with it.
Being a caregiver is extremely hard, both physically and mentally, and forcing that on someone (by hiding or downplaying your condition) should be considered as emotional abuse.

But. I stand by my original comment.
