The drama has everything but a lousy script

Things DAYS has and does well
- Beautiful scene, romantic, beautiful film color
- The soundtrack is so good, any song can become a hit, my favorite is Baekhyun's song "U"
- The acting of all five actors is good, especially Seo In Guk and Park Bo Young, Lee Soo Hyuk is also quite interesting.

What DAYS can't do and does very badly
- Script

I can say this is the worst script among dramas I have ever watched, lack of investment, lack of imagination, lack of sophistication, lack of logic, lack of empathy even than the scripts of low-budget makjang dramas with hundreds of episodes. After this film, I understand more deeply the art of telling the story of a drama, it doesn't have to say all the philosophies that the it convey, the writer should give the viewers the chance to feel. It's philosophy will present itself to the reader, not the writer trying to fill it in the audience's brain.

A strange and creative drama

The film ensures entertainment and brings a lot of reflection to viewers. In the half first, the writer handled the situations very well, bringing excitement and curiosity to the viewers. Since the writer is the judge, that makes his script even more special. I really get shivers every time the online trials are over. However, that was lacking in the final trial.

The author is an experienced person, has an in-depth view of politics, the political details and plots are handled very well by the scriptwriter. The script brings the viewer's emotions to a climax at decisive moments. However, the construction for some characters is really not good. Typically, Ga On and Soo Hyun. I feel these two characters are very shallow. Even Ga On whose background is the tragedy of his parents' death by a scammer, Soo Hyun is Ga On's protective friend who acts almost like his mother. But the motives and views of these two characters are unclear. So I find it difficult to understand them. I know we need characters who ruin a favorable situation, but sometimes they annoy me so much that it's hard to keep watching.

The commendable thing about this movie is the beautiful, artistic, soulful scenes combined with emotional soundtrack. I like slow motion scenes with no voices but only a sad violin sound. However, in the last episode these scene is a bit abused.

About the actors, Ji Sung is the same as always, he breathes life into the character, his acting level has reached the upper level. This drama wouldn't be so successful if it weren't for someone with the same acting ability as Ji Sung. And the one who surprised me the most was Kim Min Jung. I've seen two of her dramas and don't like her. In this drama, I really like Sun Ah, interesting, smart, dirty, but also a bit naive, Kim Min Jung and Ji Jung's chemistry is also amazing.. Kim Min Jung has been very successful in portraying such a complex character. I want to know more about Jung Sun Ah, if only they could take some of Soo Hyun and Ga On's time for Sun Ah's past. Next is Park Jin Young and Park Gyu Young. Park Jin Young acted quite well in the crying scenes, but in other scenes that required the maturity and determination of a judge, he was still not good, his actions were still a bit awkward and unnatural. Park Gyu Young is the same, there's no chemistry between the two, even if it's a friendship, it's awkward. But in general, their acting is also acceptable.

This is a worth watching. One of the best drama this year. Hopefully Ji Sung will receive nominations and awards in Baeksang.

The perfect crime drama

Beyond Evil is one of my favorite TV series. The problem that Korean dramas often face is the head of an elephant and at the tail of a squirrel, but Beyond Evil is fascinating through each episode. From episode 1 to episode 6, the fanciful, ghostly atmosphere with hidden secrets made me frustrated. I have to say my mentality at that time was the same as Han Ju Won, annoyed because Dong Sik kept pretending to be crazy. However, after that, the film is like a sweet gift for those who persevere. The details are pushed to the climax in an extremely skillful way that makes my heart pound. I always wonder in my head, how can they make such a great movie. The soundtrack and color of the film are also very suitable for each scene.

What counts is the acting and chemistry of Shin Ha Kyun and Yeo Jin Goo. They're really good, they've subtly portrayed the characters' psychological changes. Even the characters Yoo Jae Yi, Kang Jin Mok, Nam Sang Bae and Park Young Je and Do Hae Won are also very special. Especially, even though Do Hae Won is a bit scary and crazy, I still can't take my eyes off her beauty.

A great movie, leaving a lot of feelings even after it ended

Good Script, Great Cast

A great drama. The actors are perfect, they have shown the images of prosecutors, policemen, and chaebols in a very realistic and skillful way. I've watched a number of Yoo Jae Myung's dramas, this is the one I'm most impressed with. Also, when I watched Shin Hye Sun's small roles in many dramas, I couldn't imagine what an excellent actress she is, I'm glad that her talent shines in recent years. she has a very graceful, cute and natural way of acting. Also she is very beautiful. Bae Doo Na is really cool, I kept rewinding the scenes to see her facial expression. This drama has a good plot, the motives and psychology of the characters are reasonable, the details of the case are shared fairly with the audience. Plot twists here is built meticulously, slowly. I like how the writer never throws a twist indiscriminately like many other dramas. Overall, it is suitable for viewers who like the genre and have enough patience.

Not bad but not as good as the start

I decided to stop watching this drama at episode 35 after spoiling myself. It has a very good premise, the political plots and the old cases always make me interested and curious. However, later on, it got messy. The scriptwriter has come up with many good plots, but the solution makes me lose interest.

I also have a feeling that Jang Nara doesn't suit Sunny very well, not because she's bad. She does well in scenes with Wang Shik, but in other scenes, I can't feel her character. Shin Sung Rok is too good, his face and acting suits Huyk very well. Choi Jin Hyuk is super cool and handsome, everytime he holds Sunny in his arms, it looks like he came out of shoujo manga.

I also watched The Penthouse and realized that this writer loves to bring pity and sympathy for evil people such as Hyuk and Yu Ra. Yes, they have a dark past, but not everyone with a bad past will also become evil. If you ask me if I pity Hyuk, I say yes, but I don't like the way the scriptwriter does that. Every time I pity him, I'll remember him pushing his pregnant wife into the lake and leaving, or when he burned and tortured his mistress Yu Ra, even when he tried to kill Sunny before turn to love her.

Feeling that the drama only revolves around evil and injustice, bad guys last too long, And good characters like Wang Shik are too difficult to reach happiness.

Jang Nara's cool acting skill, stable story development, creative and humane plot

I've watched a lot of Jang Nara's dramas, not because I'm her fan, but because she's famous and appears quite a lot on TV in addition to that the script she chose is also quite good. However, it can be said that I started to love her through this drama. I'm surprised that with such cute face, she can play a cold girl so well. And her movements in the exorcism scenes are beautiful and skillful. Ji Ah is the most charming character with a cold image that I have ever seen on screen. She expresses it very naturally, and handles her coldness well with the childishness of Ji Ah's character in the scenes with her mother. Jang Nara is really amazing in this drama.

As for the stories of exorcisms, they all had a faint taste of everyday life. Most of the regrets come from relationships and feelings between people. Things are easy to come across and so the movie becomes very relatable. The stories are mostly about mother and father love and they are very touching especially the story of Ji Ah discovering the truth behind her mother's soul. Although it's not dramatic, it makes me feel very satisfied.

Overall, the movie is worth watching, good actors, beautiful scenes, good plot ensuring both entertainment and contemplation.
