BEST AMOBG THE BEST J-DRAMA EVER!!

Watch this drama ramdomly because of the froth poster,I dont feel really good for a traditional culture,but this one really change my perception

The first ep just really satisfying,they end up together easily even there is a revenge actually

I also interest in the japanese sweet,because every sweets that they do actually have a huge message,its about art..its no plain story

Minami(nao) also give the best acting here,she never act with a revenge and mystery personality,but here,its really a different role and I just really love it

But 8 episode is really not enough,I want them to end up married and have a baby....but its just okay for the happy ending

And I also want tsubaki(ryusei) to pay more attention the nao(minami) or have more time together...I hope this will be on the other drama if they could work together again

The antagonise also good,when here in the drama,they actually have a lot of antagonise..and also,they do it on purpose,its not jiat a zero action..

Every single action was really smooth and they not even waste the story with such a plain action...this productin was really creative

I hope for another J-drama that really have a clean purpose its not just a drama with just a love scene

SLIGHTLY ROMANCE AND STUNNING SCENERY

I came here after watching IN A CLASS OF HER OWN and DR CUTIE. I never thought that these two leads in SWEET TAI CHI would work together

I'm just impressed with Wenjun, as this was his first drama as a main role.

First, I was really stunned by the cinematography and scenery in this drama; it felt unreal. Great work by the production team for professionally shooting the scenes; it really makes all the tai chi scenes look perfectly filmed, smooth, and not awkward at all. It does make all the actors seem like professional Tai Chi practitioners.

I just hope for season 2 or another drama that brings them two together badly, they just a cute couple haha. I love the way they confess their love without a word 'I love you'. Since I have watched a lot of J dramas, these words are a must in every drama, but this one is just great. It makes this drama beyond cliché.

Then I love the characters of the ML and FL. Feng Piao Piao has a strong personality for not give up easily, dares to walk by herself, and does not depend on others to grow. But she does have a soft side. While Wei Chu is a cold-hearted guy with a charming side, but still cares about others. Then this makes these two walk side by side beautifully and in harmony.

I love how I can learn about the historical elements of Tai Chi from this drama, and I was very impress of the effort of the production.

If it is possible for season 2, they could make a plot with a conflict with other martial arts around the world, and maybe how they can finally unite their power and stand together in the name of martial arts and promote it to the world. Since they had competition abroad in the last episode, they could make a story overseas and start the conflict there. I think if the story has more intense conflict and mystery, it will become a unique drama.

Slow Burn Pace but Beautiful Character Growth

This drama isn't mainly about romance, but it does focus on romance after all. Leave it if you're not into it.

I really admire Shang Zhi Tao's growth in both her feelings and her work life. This story has two POVs, one from the FL and another from the ML. From the FL's perspective, every action she takes is understandable. She starts as a fresh graduate at a very well-known company, comes from the Northeast to a huge city, and even becomes part of the HR recruitment process for establishing new criteria for employees. Logically, her criteria don't even match the standard, which makes things more challenging for her. She does need time to grow. Honestly, even though it's a bit slow, I do enjoy it because I'm willing to wait for the main plot, her transformation, and her character development.

Meanwhile, Luan Nian plays a constant push-and-pull game when expressing his feelings. He tends to think that emotions are not something worth focusing on and believes that maintaining his work is all he needs. Since he has already received everything he needs, he thinks he can continue holding on to the other things he wants while dealing with them through his miserable attitude. He is surrounded by a city and an urban circle where warmth, honesty, and trustworthiness are far from reality. Everyone is looking for advantages and competence, even in love, people use relationships to compete over material things. His sharp tongue is his way of pushing away disloyal people, and he has become accustomed to it. This way of dealing with people is also what allows him to remain in Lingmei. Even when he starts to fly higher than the place where he usually stands, he forgets that he does not have wings of his own. What he fails to realize is that he has been lifted up and embraced by SZT's admiration, respect, and love for him.

I think the love from Shang Zhi Tao will make Luan Nian soften emotionally, learn to appreciate moments and the little things in life, while the dim love from Luan Nian lets Shang Zhi Tao learn to value herself for how she can be worth even without Luan Nian by her side (Shang Zhi Tao, Im supporting you from your backk)

I can see this story as a journey of emotions that makes their lives worth living, with the workplace and Beijing serving as the main backdrop for their growth.

ps: Also, at first I didn't have much impression of the supporting roles, but they're surprisingly good! Each of them is diverse and a great support for the female lead's growth, which makes it hard for me to think about dropping this drama ;D
