Does anyone know why some of Tian Jiarui's upcoming dramas aren't listed in here? I saw that he is already filming Abyssal Sentience with Huang Jing Yu but there seems to not even be a page for this drama here on MDL? And I also saw that TJR is filming a drama with Xu Ruohan but there's nothing listed here? Weird..
I’m on episode 8 but how does wu wangyun and longshen know each other - I’m happy for spoilers
It's rather complicated and is revealed in the next episodes: Wangyan realized she was doing evil deeds for the Formless Moon sect bc the Goddess had been possessed by the evil spirit Jiu Ying. In order for Wangyan to protect her memories and thoughts from Jiu Ying she collaborated with the Dragon Deity, he gave her an artifact where she could store her memories to keep them secret and not share them with her sect and Jiu Ying. In exchange she promised the Dragon Deity she'd get close to Shiguang to get the prayer beads from him.
Before I watched this drama I saw so many comments on tiktok under edits of VoS that it was a sad ending, or that…
EXACTLY it's such a nice ending, they basically got their wish come true! I ended up writing about this final scene in the discussion thread because I had so many thoughts but yeah i loved their ending!!

thank you for sharing!! I went into a bit of a rabbit hole and then I wrote all my thoughts on this under a discussion thread here bc I had a lot to say lol
Guys, I just finished watching and I'm so glad I didn't give up in the beginning, this was such an amazing drama!…
Before I watched this drama I saw so many comments on tiktok under edits of VoS that it was a sad ending, or that the ending was terrible, and that the couples deserved better etc. So I was preparing myself for a bad ending and I thought some of the main characters would die or that the couples would end up separated like in some of the other dramas of the same screenwriter. But the ending was quite the opposite??? Like, it was such a happy ending for both couples!! I don't understand why people weren't satisfied with the end. Unless they found it bad that the couples forgot about their past, which is honestly cruel if they think this way: Ji Ling and Lu Wuyi forgetting is the best thing writers could do, since both of them went through terribly traumatic experiences and had to go through some of the worst things ever. Ji Ling had a life full of loneliness and suffering, and Lu Wuyi went through so much to save him, she basically went insane going through so many rewinds. Now in the end they both live normal lives and meet each other, and also the way they met with the flowers was the cutest thing ever. IMO this was such a happy ending for them and it was what they both would've wanted. And Wangyan and Shiguang had a great ending too since Shiguang actually remembered their past and can tell her about it, and Wangyan now isn't traumatized by being used by an evil spirit to do evil things. She's basically a healed version of herself. The only part that was sad to me was that Wangyan and Wuyi don't remember each other even though their final words were about their sister. But who knows, maybe they'd end up meeting. I found the ending great...
Guys, I just finished watching and I'm so glad I didn't give up in the beginning, this was such an amazing drama! If you haven't started yet, trust me, watch it!!! Also, the people on tiktok totally lied about the ending????
I'm so glad I decided to stick around and got over the voice problem with Lu Wuyi because now I'm SO in love with this drama! I love all characters which is honestly rare for me. I'm excited to watch both couples' storylines. And now I love Lu Wuyi's voice 🤣 so if anyone else is currently watching the first episodes and thinking of dropping it, stick around because after ep. 6 it gets really good.
Feeling vindicated reading your comment, I kept wondering if it was just me. The storyline is fine (nothing special…
Yes, felt exactly the same! I enjoyed the beginning :) but after a while it just couldn't keep me hooked. I really like the main lead actor and I enjoyed his performance here, but overall the plot could've been a little bit less predictable in my opinion....
I don't get why ppl have problem with her voice that sounds just like should sound young cunning fox demon %)…
this is the first time I complain about a voice so there's no "constant complaining" from my side. Get a job and stop paying so much attention to comments from random people online...

It sounds unnatural and forced to me, that's why it bothers me. It doesn't sound like a cunning fox demon to me but like an artificial child voice. But thanks for letting me know her voice changes later on!
WHo else feels annoyed by Lu Wuyi's voice?? I only watched episode 1 but I thought about dropping it bc of her way of speaking. Everyone else seems to not even be dubbed, but her speaking tone is very childlike and also seems to speak in slow-motion....does it stay like that throughout the whole drama??
Help, I'm not sure if I should keep watching - I'm on episode 15 and currently I'm losing interest, there's a lot of political stuff and the romance feels a bit predictable and flat. Will it stay consistently like this or does the plot change?
