Honestly I think that worst ending for him would be if he doesn't die, if he was forced to watch how everything he was "working for" was taken from him, how his family was destroyed and his name was thrown into mud. The death was actually very peaceful and light ending for him...

They got what they deserve, but from my personal perspective, it wasn't satisfying 🤷‍♀️ I can give you more specific spoilers if you want 🫣 🙃

ehh, it's the saddest end possible, when the story have Happy ending but theres no satisfying ending for all of us 😭 btw. thanks for letting me know, I will definitely watch this but I hope for some fan work or something that will made this story satisfying 🫰❤️

* Justice in the dark (my beloved, the Pei Su and Cap Luo are the best be gay & solve crime couple)
* Under the Skin (painter & detectiv duo, from enemies to bff (lovers) and they have cat together <3 )
* My Roommate Is a Detective (similiar vibe for cases betwen us & similiar time, but they have a girl "as a friend" to make it's less gay)
* Nanyang mystery (good bomance, "magic crime solving", great actors and really intresting story but the end will break your heart.)
* White Cat Legend (Funny & crime solving in the historical times)
* Guardian (clasic magic investigation & solving crime, the CGI hurt my eyes but the story is reaally great <3 and ML have amazing energy togther - big minus, the end is "not too happy")

* S.C.I (just team solvng crimes and acting like they boss aen't gay)
* The Blood of Youth & Dashing youth (it's not really about solve crimes but it's as gay as it possibly can be and still get thrugh chinese censorship. Swords, brotherhood and epic fights & and theres no ugly character at all)
* A League of Nobleman / The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty - there two different series but I think that they have the same vibe (funny & silly duo, you may love it, you may thik they are to stupid to remember how to breath)

Honestly YX is my favourite character in this series, he had really impressive character development, and I think that if he actually "get the girl" his story will have weaker impact (on me at least). I'm under really big impression of his acting and I can't wait to be able to see him in next series.

For all people who downrated this series only because he's 2ML: guys, did you even see this show? He deliver. He crash this character. He definitely play with us and ours feeling and I'm sure he's proud of himself. I cry like ugly baby when girls was reading letters from him + the emperor shaking voice 👌🏻

I give the last episodes slightly lower ratings because this looks like they cut at least 2 episodes 🤣😅 but Winwin definitely isn't reason for that.

I started watching this for Zhan Zhao, but I definitely like Bai Yu Tang even more <3 All of his scenes are 10/10 :)

Just started watching, but is it told in the series what's the age difference between the FL and ML? (I know the real actors age but asking about the character)

I just feel that this series will be: angst, hurt with just a little comfort, grape and romantizing crossing the boundaries, double layers of cutie bottom, freak top, depression, crying boys with feelings and finally at the top of pilles of hurt there will be unreasonable happy ending...

still, can't wait to watch this series. CBL ale just too good to skip even if they are freak...
