Oh yeah totally! Again, is exactly why I don’t take her reviews seriously. I only watch them to see if there were details I missed and more when she talks about the historical elements. But I do like Marcus, haha but his pauses always get me, sounds so teleprompter like.

If I don’t ship then, then there’s no point to watching this show lol 😂 , I just know typical xanxia dramas leave them sweet when they are and super bitter and nonchalant when they’re not happy. It’s the typical “im doing this for your own protection” vibes and then they’ll spend so much time feeling so much anger towards each other. It’ll be a long while till they’re back in their happy bubble, I think we’re all waiting for it at this point.

I never take what these reviews says seriously nor should anyone. So no,
definitely was not aware. It’s not like I sit there and stalk what she has said or what other netizens have to say about a show. It was just by chance I saw it and watched it. Again, the point I was trying to draw was the character associations. Not her and what she had to say about the show. I couldn’t care less what she thinks of the show. That doesn’t effect what I think. If it bothers you that much, I’ll blur out her name.

I think you missed my point of my comment- I didn’t comment bout her review but she drew connections I didn’t realise was my point of the comment. Even WeTV made the same connections based on that link I attached.

It was just of who his character was and in case no one else made that same connection like I did.

My point exactly, it’s mediocre meaning it could definitely be better. It’s watchable but I felt like she had a better on screen chemistry with Yang Yang. Just a personal preference.

I wish they had the same chemistry on screen. 😩 too bad their scripts are so mediocre.

Holy shit.. I’ve just watched XXXXXX review on this and I don’t know why it didn’t hit me earlier.. A Jin is basically the son of the characters in ancient love poetry played by Xu Kai and Zhou Dongyu. 😅 I thought their character names sounded so familiar when they kept talking about a Jin’s origins.. like where have I heard those names before.. 😂 now I can’t get the visual out of my head.

I love how almost all xanxia dramas have the same plots with the same gods etc 😂 I was trying to figure out who was who in this one based on past dramas

Is this a lot different than the novel? I’m up to date and it’s starting to feel so repetitive that she gets bullied left, right, and centre.. I presume based on the scenes in the official music videos that she probably gets accused of something and then he’s forced to either kill her to make amends and I presume that’s how she gets reborn?

But like is there more to it? I’m guessing she eventually regains memories of her past along the way…
