Yeah I figured that would be the case but I hate how her real intentions was to ‘steal it’ without that assumption that he might be helping her. Like all the misunderstandings could have been solved in one conversation. I feel like they’re dragging this storyline. Like when do we get more about who she really is and when they reconcile and work together 😂 cause I feel there’s a bigger story.

Well it’s more her motive that she only wanted to get close to him to steal his magic. Or so she thinks she was “stealing” it. I can’t believe she couldn’t even come clean with him after 6 episodes in.

Me too. The way I suspect it to turn out is that he finds out what she’s been doing all along after developing feelings for her and then she feels guilty and then tries to make it up to him. It’s a little predictable. I would’ve appreciated her to be honest with him and then cheekily finds ways to steal
It from him but at least he’s aware 🤪 but noooo. That wouldn’t make a good plot.

Am I the only one annoyed that she keeps stealing his magic without being honest why she’s doing it to him. Like, what happened to being honest and independent 😒

I honestly didn’t find the last episodes too bad. It didn’t feel as rushed as some shows have done so. I like that they started closing out the character endings from epi 39 with MR and the empress which gave more screen time in the end for the ML and FL.

But can someone tell me who the young boy at the very end talking to Ancheng is meant to be? I’m presuming DD and QA’s kid? Or did LQ and BN have two kids?
