They don't run away from each other. I would even say both are quite clingy.
The only thing people might find frustrating is the sort of lack of communication that there is when they start dating. They are very sweet towards each other, but the ML is not willing to share his suffering with the FL. So you feel that while their interactions are sweet, you feel there is still some distance between them.
But it makes sense and pays off in the end. They are both socially awkward, in their first relationship and both have past trauma that affects the way they interact with other people. Only after each deals with their trauma and they begin sharing everything with each other can their relationship truly flourish.
Tbh, taking into account the leaks during the drama shooting, it's possible for the drama to be more like HL and WIFTY with a k-drama vibe compared to TFF. The plot is also more like HL than TFF. I just said the novel vibes were more TFF to me because it felt like a more intimate and deep evolution of their relationship from a initially sweet one. And the trauma plays a big part in the story, but is definitely not as suffocating as the one in TFF.
Pertaining the drama you are looking for, if it's set in high school, it can only be Time and Him are Just Right.
I honestly feel bad for LYX for choosing this drama. Just from the leaks, it already looks incredibly boring.…
Is this ragebait? This is literally the most anticipated drama in China right now and is likely going to be the most popular drama in 2027. LYX's popularity is likely going to explode after this drama. As a fellow fan of her, please stop embarrassing yourself by trying to create conflict between both fanbases, it won't work. TJC is a great actor and your biases based on rumours make absolutely no sense. LYX is also constantly under attack from those same marketing accounts. Many people/agencies are jealous of both for taking part in this project.
Does this story have more of the vibes of HL or TFF? I saw some past trauma mentioned in the synopsis. Are there…
As someone who read the novel, the plot is more like HL than TFF, mainly because the ML is the one suffering and the FL has a crush. In terms of vibes, i think it's slightly more like TFF but it's still quite sweet. It's definitly not as somber as TFF but also not as lighthearted as HL. It becomes more emotional in the last third. There was a instance of ghosting, but it was more of a misunderstanding. *Spoiler* Read at your own risk!!!!! The ML did ghost her once for 3 days after they had a spat. After trying to call him for 3 days, the FL thought after that he maybe did not like her as much (he also was not someone who shared with others his pains, which creates a barrier between them). She was also busy with family matters at that time. Actually, the ML had been admited to the hospital for operation with a collapsed lung if I remember correctly. When he woke up 3 days later, Yunli asked him to break up, which he agrees (There's more context to why he agrees, but I won't spoil more)
If she knew whatever happened was not his fault then why did she break up with him?
Because of family pressure. Throughout the show she's been shown to be someone who is very fillial to her parents and is afraid to hurt them, especially her father, even more after the accidents. But the pain from being apart from Xiao Zhiyu gets to the point of being unbearable that she can't help but break down in front of her parents and apologizes for being selfish and still wanting to be with him
Congrats to 轧戏 for winning 4 awards at the SMG TV Series Quality Awards👏: - Quality and Influential Drama Star (Lu Yuxiao) - Quality Cinematography of the Year (Zhang Lei) - High Quality Hit Drama - Quality Innovative Directing (Cattree)
How is this drama part of The First Frost universe? I really can't wait for it. I want the nuances to feel just…
The male and female leads here are the seniors of Sang Yan and Wen Yifan.
The male lead here in When I Meet The Moon has a nephew who is in the same grade as Sang Zhi, and he also had a crush on her in high school. His name is Fu Zheng Chu (played by Zhang Jongmin in Hidden Love). He mentions Sang Zhi and Sang Yan in the novel.
One of Yunli's friends I think also met Duan Jiaxu while he was pretending to be Sang Zhi's brother when she was young (in the novel/manhwa, doesn't appear to be in Hidden Love drama) and asked for his phone number.
In First Frost novel, there was also an extra chapter where Sang Zhi and Wen Yifan admired Fu Shize for his looks and Duan Jiaxu and Sang Yan got very jealous.
She's not in this. They are starting to film the show tomorrow and she's not among the participants. They just…
Filming will take 50 days. No idea when it will air. No official list yet, but here is the unofficial list rumoured a few days ago (some have already confirmed their participation): Xu Xinwen, Zhang Xincheng, Lu Zhuo, Xie Keyin, Dai Luwa, Xu Yiyang, Guo Junchen, Wang Anyu, Yao Chi, Wang Yien, Zhang Yanqi, Xilinna Yigao, Kang Ziqi, Ma Xiaoyu, Wang Xiaoyunzi, Yuan Yiqi, Yan An, Duan Aojuan, Zhong Chenle, Zhang Yuzi, Ouyang Didi, Shao Ziheng, Yang Borui, Yu Yuhan.
She's not in this. They are starting to film the show tomorrow and she's not among the participants. They just put out her name and many others in the iQiyi conference when presenting this show to the investors before her agreeing to take part in the first place.
It is barely a love triangle. The FL doesn't really indulge the SML and draws clear boundaries from the start
They have a few interactions. However, she works for the ML, ML and SML are rivals. His intentions in the beginning in approaching her are clearly impure even if he fell in love with her later. She is also aware of this, so she is quite guarded towards him. I would say their relationship is at most aquaintance and later a normal working relationship, SML fell in love with her because FL is too charming. I wouldn't say he is clingy, but he does gets a little desperate towards the latter episodes by claiming his interest on her in front of his parents when he clearly does not have neither the ability to protect her from his family nor any kind of relationship with her to speak about. He also antagonizes the ML further when he finds out they are together. Tbh, I feel like the "love triangle" quite helps the drama. It is very light, the jealous expressions of the ML are hilarious and it helps showing the strong character of the FL. Even in the latter part, combined with the plot, it helps further develop the connection between the ML and FL.
She is an incredibly underutilised talent .its surprising how casting directors haven't recognised what she brings…
I mean, her next drama is adapted from a Zhu Yi novel and the one she's filming now is her first drama that gets an S+ rating from the start of production. Believe me, she's getting recognized. She's probably getting tons of offers at the moment, so she can be as picky as she wants.

This finished filming in October/November, so being released in July or August sounds reasonable considering it's a modern drama
