In novel when she transmigrated as another he yan she got a new family and finally felt the warmth and love of a family. Also it would have been exciting to watch how after transmigrating she killed and escaped from a scumbag young master and how she joined the army after escaping. Actually the novel doesn't heavily focus on revenge but in the series it seems like she has set for revenge. So it feels a bit strange and fast paced to me.

It feels so strange cause I have read the novel so I know how many things they have changed and it's logical but I feel a bit regretful. It's still good but seems fast paced.

It's a shame that they are not adding the event of her marriage cause that made her more pitiful like her family raised her as a boy for their own benefit and she won't glory for the family by becoming a mighty general but in the end when her brother was healed they were suddenly reminded that she is a girl and as if she is an ordinary girl they married her off binding her to the fate of every other ordinary woman while snatching her achievements but even after doing all this they still felt uneasy and in the end cruelty planned her murder and killed her successfully. (I think she was also pregnant at that time?) Let's see how they have planned to present this story in the series.

Actually her whole family plus her husband. She dies in her husband's house in the hand of her husband's concubine/love affair but actually her whole family including her husband planned her death, that includes her brother too.

Yes, in the novel she is killed by her husband and then she transmigrates/is reborn as the daughter of a small official with the daughter having same name as her and then due to some troubles she encounters later she enlists in military. In series version they won't show her being transmigrated but as if she somehow survives her husband's attempt to kill her and then somehow assumes the identity of the daughter of the small official and then enlists.

I watched the second ep while knowing a bit what would happen, before watching I thought I would feel sad for cherry but I instead felt sad for qiao xi.

Armin running away from set when he was reborn is still okay cause he was really confused but he looked really dumb when he made commotion in the hospital. Behaving so abnormally, a normal person would have sent him to psychiatrist to get his brain checked.

I actually like both the couples. Especially the main couple, even though the enigma is sociopath obsessed with alpha from the abo novels I have read I know that abo world is darker than normal novels. I know that the enigma is full of red flags but not everything is sunshine and rainbows like some light novels, in the end for me only the intentions of the enigma matters rather than his means, if his intentions are good then his means are acceptable to me. While the story of second couple is quite cliche in abo novels but seeing it in action is more interesting. Idk about sexual assault tho? It's just been 3 eps and I don't think sa has happened in any of these eps??

Yep bro you are right and all along I wasn't saying that you are wrong but instead I was venting my frustration here. It's not that I don't understand her reasons completely but maybe I'm just used to smart FL's who analysis the situation before taking action. Especially FL's from ancient settings. I was like she literally has a job related to stories and plots and if she sees him like a character then why can't she analysis his character and plot? She is good at analysing her situation but not good at analysing the overall plot because of layers of bias. It's still okay to have such flaws as no one is flawless but the things she said about his battle achievements really irked me so I came here to vent about it. I must be coming across as unreasonable but yes I have flaws too😆

I actually am not complaining that she is being unable to see through him as a person more than character of the script. I'm complaining about her IQ. Yes she has prejudices against the ML but as an actress who has performed many roles even though she has performed small roles doesn't she have such a common sense about plots related to royalties and ancient times. She has said in the first ep while reading the script that she has performed so many roles that the script is predictable to her. She can even predict the future progress so why can't she understand this little common sense? In my opinion, no matter how much biased she is, the whole situation could be understood by common sense.

I don't have any problem with her dislike for him and if she judges him for any other things I could understand but the time when she concludes his battles as him seeking attention rubbed me the wrong way. Who battles with less soldiers to seek attention? Isn't it just like seeking death? As for him being reckless and taking such a small amount of soldiers on battlefield, she clearly knows how much the emperor dislikes him so isn't it common sense that the emperor won't want him to have many soldiers in his hands but with how the borders are with ever changing situations how could he not go on a battle? Or he should have waited for the enemies to enter the cities and harm the military as well as civilians? Plus the ML said that Guihong's army didn't take any action at that time so what choice he could have? Even if she sees ML as a villian aren't these things common sense to understand especially when she knows the gist of the script and is not ignorant as the characters in the script? I just feel so frustrated on this point.

I don't know where the logic of FL comes from? She sees every of ML's battles and actions as evil. Normally if a brave general fights a battle with less soldiers against more soldiers from enemy's side isn't it considered as being brave? After reading so many ancient settings novels I have seen this situation being considered as the ML being really brave and even if such a character is villian rather than ML, such battles are still seen in a positive light by common people and readers so why was such an act was twisted into ML being a reckless attention seeker by the FL? I can understand that the people in the script are under such impression because of the power of script and story but FL is an outsider so why isn't she being rational in distinguishing between good act and bad act? And tbh I feel like there's something off about Guihong. Even though his image is shown to be righteous I don't know how to explain but he seems to be double faced (it's just how I feel whenever I see him and maybe I'm wrong).

Cause she is his enemy's daughter or you can say the daughter of a minister from opposition. He doesn't have any feelings for her, doesn't care about her, is not in love with her, she is the fiancee of his enemy, that's how his role is written in the script etc there are so many reasons. Most of all she is an unexpected and uncontrollable variable who can affect him to some extent. He is in the fight for the throne where he could be killed if he loses the fight so how could he take her existence lightly? I actually feel pity for the ML cause he isn't loved or even looked at by his father just because his father is emperor and fears ML's mother's family's power. The citizens thinks of him as god of death and are afraid of him even though he guards the border. Call me biased but I don't like the way FL thinks of him as a ruthless monster too when she clearly knows what he has gone through since childhood in the palace (yes the one in the script is a jerk but there's more to the ML than the things written in the script and she will get to know that later but I'm biased) Also seems like you are biased to FL too cause so many times she has said that there won't be peace in her life until ML is alive. She too has tried to kill the ML by using the rules of the script (It's not just for self defence cause there's no need to defend herself cause he can't hurt her and she knows it so she clearly wanted to kill or hurt him) and am sure that she won't hesitate to kill him if she gets a chance to do it especially now that she knows that he can't hurt her. Basically they both have prejudices against each other, FL knows the script so she thinks of him as villian and wants to kill him while for ML she is his enemy's daughter and fiancee and a variable for whom he has no feelings so they are enemies. I'm actually glad that the enemies into lover troupe here is really enemies into lover were they really think of each other as enemies rather than some mild childish games.
