I did wonder why they didn't directly ask the actor whose face they used as song yan's to play the role of song yan cause he had already played the infamous role of jin guangyao in the untamed and is a very talented actor. Now it makes sense why they only used his face. It's ironic that the face they used to replace the face of original actor is of the actor that played an infamous role in a legendary censored bl drama. Thanks for telling me tho.

Yes by the end of ep 16 the thought of shipping them flew over my head, just the way he looks at changyu is really disgusting. I think it's because at the start of 16th ep he instructed his subordinates to not humiliate yu qianqian and not to hurt her kid because of his brother and also because of how he at first refused to let the pretty maid (changyu) in but later changed his mind to imitate wei xuan's lustful behaviour that I thought that he is quite decent but he too is a psychopath just like his brother.

Also I think you are asking about qi min who has been dethroned as crown prince, it's a spoiler but qi min whose real name is sui yuanhuai is actually the son of the previous crown prince who was killed in the attack on the border along with xie sheng's father so his identity is actually the son of crown prince who is the rightful heir to the throne but due to his real father the crown prince's death situation became complicated and he ended up with the identity of prince changxin's eldest son.

As watching this series for the first time, you won't realise that cream was pretending to be in love with 2ML, you will only get to know about it in the end but as I'm watching it for second time I realised the smallest details like her wet eyes, her words that meant more than what she said or how much pain she was going through was hidden in her words. Watching this for the second time felt like I'm accompanying her and feeling the same pain she is feeling.

Actually watching it the second time I realised that I missed the meaning behind some things when I watched it first time. Watching it second time was more painful than first time because I already know now how things would take place and what cream has to go through just so she could fulfill k's wishes.

She didn't fake suicide, she really wanted to take her own life to go and be with che kai on the other side of the world but when she was drowning she was saved by some swimmers. It's just no one knew that she was saved and for 3 yrs she didn't meet or inform 2ml about herself.

It's different, there's more details and more story to this series than the korean version.

Rewatching this drama made me realise that the ML's personality is actually problematic (maybe slightly but yes).
