I love it. Never a dull moment. The two leads work brilliantly together from a uniformly excellent script. I wish there were more dramas with Zhang Yue-nan in the leading role. She deserves it.
I still haven't recovered from Scarlet Heart. Should've been called Bloody Heartbreaking C-Drama. Liu Shi-shi's brilliant acting is the only thing that kept me watching until the bitter end.
I know. She's very famous. That's why I thought it was a k-drama. Also interesting to see how she does in a rom-com. Her other dramas are very serious.
I'd like to commend the music director for providing an appropriate instrumental score and no songs, which allowed the entire cast of actors to ACT. The idea that brilliant actors need songs to convey what their characters are feeling is ridiculous, insulting, and annoying.
Currently watching this show and if you get that it's a satire on k-drama production and the people involved, it's really hilarious. Interesting to me (at least) that in both this show and Be Melodramatic, the female writer is totally neurotic.
i Just want to thank this dramma for talking and, somehow, showing the reality of people with mental illnesses…
This drama and Sell Your Haunted House seem to be the sort of socially conscious projects that we can expect from Jang Nara from now on. She has my deepest respect for taking on projects that aren't the romantic comedies that made her a k-drama star, but which are meaningful to her and that might help others who are victims of prejudice, inequality, and institutional corruption. In addition, her acting is off the charts!
