Just saw your post right below mine, i would say last few years good Chinese dramas have generally been much better than the majority of kdramas. So this time i would agree with the ratings of chinese viewers.
Watched 2 more. Think i'll drop it. Everything is moving too fast. Despite this having what looks to be a promising show, maybe because its too short so they had to move the plot fast but it made what the drama keep trying to tell you the FL is smart and brilliant to be flawed as it shows her keep being outsmarted. This is one of the rare dramas where i was only hooked in ep 1 then never, mostly dramas i dropped it never hooks me at all. So i would say the current (18/6/26) rating of 7.9 is valid.
Watched till ep 5. Does this improve? Ep 1-2 was great but something feels off for me and its bugging me. Everything feels too fast paced. Because of that you dont feel anything, Might drop this.
Watched till 13 now, been interesting in parts but until now it hasnt hooked me in like other dramas i watched, not to mention its confusing. May drop it.
Just reached 23/24 is this annoying back and forth thing in what seems like an attempt to lengthen it to 40 episodes gonna continue all the way to the end? If so I'm contemplating dropping this .
At ep 29 now. This show still hasn't hooked me lol. It doesn't feel interesting to me but not to say it's a bad show I just don't find it to be interesting to me lol.
Not here to say anything about the ending since i'm not there yet. But i do have a question, currently at EP 19, when does it get good/interesting? Not to say the past 18 episodes have been bad/boring but nothing great so far to hook me to it like other shows.
Was really interested to watch this till i saw it has a "bad ending" and i generally avoid shows with bad endings. Now im not sure should i watch or skip this haha.
As i almost never watch Cdramas below 8.5.
