Not bad at all, but something is lacking
I liked all the characters in this story. I personally felt that sahara sensei and toki kun didn't quite match that well. Something about them feels like an odd pairing. I did really like the side characters and the romance between the childhood friends. It would have been cool if Rise had a love interest as well.I think what I dont love about this drama compared to other BLs is that the scenes focus only on the characters and not the environment at all. The pacing also feels too quick and I feel like it could have been edited to be better. The casting of the characters is not bad, but there is a lack of chemistry between the main couple that makes it hard to love. I do commend everyone for their work in this drama.
Overall I would recommend this BL, but prioritize other better BLs before this one.

Emotional, deep yet realistic and light-hearted. Lovely drama with bitter misunderstandings.
Japanese BLs really come through with the acting, pacing and storyline. This BL felt very satisfying because it was about a couple that was already together but have a falling out. The premise is very interesting as are the characters backstories. Ritsu is an artist and Fumiya is a handsome worker. The two have a stable relationship until one day the small annoyances lead to a breaking point. It is really interesting to see how the two communicate and reconcile. I loved watching this drama and feel rewatching would be fun. While there are fantasy elements, the two could very well be a real couple. Do yourself a pleasure and watch this drama, you will be happy and anxious and feel so many emotions. Both actors are very handsome in distinct ways, which add to the enjoyability of the experience. Coffeeshops, riverside benches and apartment scenes, this drama feels idealistic yet real. Big thanks to the actors and team behind this work. Was this review helpful to you?
Sweet and simple teen love story
Kimi no koto dake mite itai is a simple story between Yuma and Sakura. They have been childhood friends and are still super close. Over the years, Sakura has developed a crush on Yuma. Yuma says he wants a cool summer. a moment that goes Boom! Sakura's answer to that is to finally confess. Surprisingly, his feelings are returned quickly, as Yuma just gets shy then realizes how much he loves Sakura as well. The story is extremely simple, but I believe it is meant to be simple. There are only 6 characters of interest and the entire thing lasts around 80 minutes. A simple couple of friends who develop feelings over another, and the only thing they want in the future is to make sure that they treasure one another. This is what life should be. To only want to see and love one another. No thoughts about society or the future. No conflicts. Just simple love. That being said, since there is little attachment to the characters, I am giving the story an 8. It is definitely a recommended drama but it won't change your world. Just watch, enjoy, and let the stress of life leave your thoughts.

BL, but a focus on social economic issues
I wouldn't say that Not Me is a BL in its essence. Yes, the main characters fall in love, but there is more than that. The characters bond over their motivations to make Thailand (or the world in general) a better place by challenging its justice system and by exposing injustices performed by rich people in power specifically. OffGun as always have knocked it out of the park with this one. Their acting is so extremely believable and detailed, you forget they are acting at times. Every single character is given time to shine, and White is able to connect with many of them on a deeper level than Black was able to.There are parts in the series that show how Black acted towards the other members of the gang and the stark difference is incredible. You really believe that White and Black are completely different people, but they are performed by the same person! From the way he talks and his mannerisms, everything is different and you can feel the tension. I highly enjoyed the drama. I binged the last half of the show in two days because I just really wanted to see how it would develop and end. I even cried during the last episode with the crowd of supporters. I think this BL is not only good, but it is also important. This series is a statement, and I believe that there are some valuable lessons to be learned from this.

Our Youth, beautiful and steadfast.
It's been a while since I have watched a BL series, but that did not stop this series from being amazingly addictive to watch. The story focuses on two boys in high school and university, Hirukawa the bad boy and Minase the silent and obedient boy.-Synopsis-
Hirukawa faces domestic violence from his father, and Minase sees Hirukawa being mistreated by classmates, teachers and his father. The first few episodes focus heavily on them becoming entangled with each other and caring for each other. After the established chemistry, Hirukawa feels he has a bad influence on Minase and his goal of entering a good university, and the two unwillingly drift apart. After several years the two meet again in university, and neither of them holds back any more. They do their best to be together and are building a life together.
-Chemistry-
The chemistry between this couple is amazing and electric. Hirukawa is a natural flirt and is very daring in his attempts to become closer to Minase. Minase is hesitant, but curious and never shuts Hirukawa fully away. There are a lot of intimate scenes here, most of which are kissing and hugging. While the first kiss scenes are rather stiff, the chemistry in all of them make them a joy to watch, and make the viewer want to rewatch the scenes.
There are also plenty of scenes showcasing small acts of affection, such as caring for the others' wounds, buying each other souvenirs, waiting for each other and many more. This series has no secondary couple like other BLs, so we can really focus on these two and their relationship. The focus of only one couple made their story stronger and greater.
-General Opinion-
This is another great BL, and I highly recommend it a watch. The characters are deep and surprising, the chemistry is booming, the visuals are gorgeous, and the emotions keep you watching. I wish it didn't end so soon. It kind of feels like the last few episodes were rushed in scenes. I still think all loose end are wrapped up nicely, and am satisfied with the ending. The two have the resolve to be together in their best version of themselves, and care deeply about each other.
The drama also shines light on Japan's current lack of same-sex marriage. It's a beautiful thing to add into the series. It makes the characters feel more real, as they care about their realistic future to be together in the eyes of the law and society.
Overall, this is a beautiful drama and I am very happy I watched it. Great job to the actors and everyone involved. I hope to see more from the two. While a second season is unlikely, I would watch it in a heartbeat.

What The F-ck, also ignore the last five minutes?
This is the most unhinged movie I have ever seen, nothing about it made sense for the first hour and still many of the interactions were weird. It felt like we were a bystander and you see 2 people that know each other talk about something between them, but for a whole movie. I dont really know how to rate this movie but I will just put some of my thoughts here.A married school teacher gets raped by a guy in a pig mask. Three months later, he is still traumatized by the event and gets followed by 2 guys, one of them being a guy called Kai. The teacher thinks its the guys that raped him, and he gets followed and teased with more and more. Eventually, he loses his job and his wife, and his mental state is a wreck. He lives randomly just like everyone in the shit town.
SPOILERS
Turns out, the teacher was not raped by Kai, but by an older man who is the boss of the shit town. The connection and why he "protects and gives money" is confusing but whatever. It is nice that some of the questions the viewer has were answered, but it is still obvious that this movie is open to interpretation in many areas.
Kai probably kept an eye out for the teacher because Kai liked him since he was a child. He surveyed the teachers trauma responses and helped him face his trauma. Still, he ruined the life of the teacher, so it felt quite meaningless in my eyes. Kai acted mostly self-indulgent in my opinion. One thing i dont get is why did the big boss man decide to rape the teacher? I see the connection with the teacher and Kai but not the with the boss.
As for the ending, it was cool that the teacher ended up burning the boss man alive, and then made love with Kai. It was a fcked up story, but at least there is some sort of happy ending. Until the boss man (i think? his face was covered probably from the hospital but idk) kllled the teacher and he lies dead naked in the forest. Bruh. What even is this story. Kai manages to escape and god knows what he is thinking and plans to do with his life.
I dont know how to recommend this movie. Its somewhat of an interesting watch but super confusing and does not deserve a re watch in my opinion. Still, the acting was great and I recommend it if you like darker themes in general. Respectfully, I prefer soft and fluffy BLs (this one is not even a BL), and will be enjoying them instead.

Simple yet amazing
Peach, a photographer with no family other than his sister, runs into Thee, a rich businessman who owns the company Peach works for. What seems like a dramatic premise turns into a simple yet strong story of two people falling in love.I highly enjoyed this drama. Peach is very down to earth and Thee is dramatic to the point that it becomes funny. The beginning of the series is the strongest as you can really see the difference between Peach and Thee and their lives. The two become more similar in the latter half as Peach accepts the luxurious life more and Thee becomes less extravagant. The whole series is great and 10 episodes is a perfect length in my opinion.
The side love story of Rome and Mork, and Tawan and Rane are both really weak. Neither see much screentime so it is not much of a negative. I would have loved more between Rome and Mork, because Mork is one of the most important characters in the story besides Peach and Thee.

Interesting setting with strong chemistry.
The chemistry between Scent and Gaysorn is strong, and the storyline is very interesting, with people from the mountains who smell like flowers. Scent only goes to the mountains for selfish reasons, but genuinely falls for Gaysorn.Unfortunately, the side characters are mostly annoying apart from the best friend in the lab and Tawan (who I expected to meet and be together). Also, the story focuses a lot on where Gaysorn's mother is, specifically the last couple of episodes.
I found the series a mostly enjoyable experience, with some odd visual effects, but I found them entertaining enough (spore and butterflies). I wish the two had spent more time bonding in the mountains, at least a couple of episodes.

Meh
The story is a mess, the characters all need therapy and there is a lot of unnecessary violence. This is more like a school bullying drama with BL concepts added in. The most likable character is the blue haired guy, the rest are pretty crap and bad peopleThere are plenty of great dramas to watch over this one.

Not a BL, but a remarkable story
I didn't know what to expect from this since it has been marketed as a BL (as far as I can remember) but didn't see that from the trailers. I would consider this more of a bromance with a small crush/budding romance that happened between 2 male classmates but couldn't be fulfilled. Kouki has messed up his life and would rather die than live. He gets stabbed and dies, but somehow turns back to life with an angel waiting in his apartment. The two start to get closer and familiar with each other. At the end of the drama we can really feel that Kouki loves the angel and feels very attached to him, I cannot tell if it is romantic or platonic. Either way, it is love for sure. Kouki is able to enjoy life more and see it through a brighter perspective. The actors did a great job at conveying the characters. The small side story of the two classmates is confusing. I don't know how realistic it is to bully someone you like because you are jealous or confused with them, but it left a very bad taste in my mouth. This is probably the intention from the director though. The school trip scene is even more confusing and weird. It just felt spastic and icky. I don't know how else to describe it.
I do have other complaints and confusions, slight spoilers ahead.
---
My biggest issue with the drama is the ending. It is simply confusing and does not bring closure at all. Kouki did not get closure, and the last part where he looks in the camera and the angel starts talking is even more confusing. Did Kouki see the angel? Did Kouki decide to unalive? I really don't expect a season 2 so this feels even more frustrating. What is also confusing is the message that the film is trying to convey. Is it about making life better? Or about making deep bonds? Kouki picked his life up but his attachment to the angel really hit him.
Overall, while the effort is good and this was a very intriguing drama, I personally don't understand the enjoyment one would get out of this manga or drama. Perhaps it is not quite my cup of tea and I simply prefer less supernatural and obvious romance stories. I don't know who to recommend this to, I can't even explain why someone should see it. If we consider this drama for the first 5 episodes, it is quite strong and leaves a unique impression. With the inclusion of episode 6, it becomes more meaningful but also more murky. If you are interested in the setting, give it a try, but don't expect romance other than the two hugging.

Like a perfect manga!
This BL has been quite viral and for good reason. The couple is adorable together and the height difference further adds to this. There's something about them being childhood friends that makes the viewer naturally curious about the relationship of the two. I am very satisfied with this BL and the length of it. 8 x 20 minute episodes is great for a Japanese BL and each episode added depth. I did feel like my expectations were made a bit too high from what I saw on social media, as the BL feels very fictional and manga-like with some of the acting and mannerisms. This is highly enjoyable but it does decrease the relatability factor for me personally. The side characters were enjoyable enough, maybe not quite as much as some of the side characters in other J-BLs. I was particularly annoyed by the guy who keeps trying to get Kakeru a girlfriend, but it is realistic for a Japanese high school setting. Overall, I highly recommend this BL, the visuals and vibes of the drama are great and I am looking forward to see more from the two. We didn't get much skinship other than a cute handholding scene and two kissing scenes that didn't quite feel passionate, but I don't think this is the BL that needed that. Enjoy this drama! Was this review helpful to you?
Confusing, but still enjoyable
I gave this series a shit since I watched the original thai one and because I saw some tiktoks about the drama. The story is interesting but confusing at the same time. Still, you can tell the drama does not take itself too seriously so the confusion can be forgiven as a silly little BL plot. The pairing work well, I liked the side couple more than the main couple but no one was ouright bad. I surprisingly liked the kissing scenes a lot and felt like they were spread out nicely as well. This was a short and fresh drama for me, enjoyable and a little silly. One comment I do have is that I was confused by some of the voice lines looking like they werent recorded live, and it took me out of the immersion even more coupled with the silly nature of the drama. I still recommend a watch. Was this review helpful to you?
Binged it all in one day!
I was surprised by how much I liked this BL! The two main characters have a lot of charm and their acting is quite skilled. The side characters were also likeable and everyone had decent to good acting skills. I do think the cinematography in terms of lighting and angles was rather basic. A great example of more dynamic lighting would be "The Eight Sense", but then again the vibes of the BLs are different. This is just a small comment. The story is rather simple and interesting, I would have liked more intimacy from the main couple as it was rather modest and there was nothing more than kissing, but the office kitchen scene was rly good in terms of skinship. I think I also would have liked more focus on the main couple. The other interns weren't taking too much screentime necessarily but they didn't seem to add more into the BL rather than to stir up a lil bit of drama. Overall, this is a lighthearted BL that I recommend a watch.

Handsome couple, interesting story, odd pacing and acting?
The main reason I was interested in this drama was Ren, he is unbelievably attractive and his acting was pretty good as well. I don't really have any remarks on it. Kazuma's acting was a lot more awkward, escpecially because of his facial expressions. The rest of the characters were decent and provided more of a side role. I did like the French guy at the end, his acting was noticably the best and he was really handsome as well. Overall, this is a short BL with sweet moments and a decently interesting story. I recommend to watch.I do want to add that I found this BL to be a bit more realistic than other BLs, where one's reputation because of their sexuality could change and how people can deal with it in a realistic way.

One of the best KBLs for sure!
I decided to give this a watch after seeing some super good reviews, and I was not disappointed. The story and setting is very interesting and unique, and so the BL feels like it's own thing. It's not another cafe BL, or another office or university BL. While those themes are fun, this small town vibe with a famous person hiding and being an artist and teacher really stands out. The acting is top notch and all of the main actors are very handsome. I enjoyed watching every single episode. I highly recommend this BL, so if you are wondering what to watch, prioritize this one! The length was also good to me, not too long and also not too short. I would gladly rewatch this. Like other Korean BLs, the story does feel very fantasy-like and so it is difficult to relate to the characters, but nevertheless is very entertaining. If I had to pick a weak point, I would say that the kissing scenes were one of the weaker ones in BLs. recent BLs have basically all had good kiss scenes and this one is more like a basic kdrama stiff kiss. Also, the side couple left a little more to be desired in my opinion. Overall, I think this is a BL that should be talked about more just like some of the other best ones like Blueming.
