My comment after watching this drama including extra:
Wu Jin Yan and Wang Xing Yue are the only true main captain and pillar of their romance and chemistry together for their characters in this drama.
Their tacit understanding, comitment for the analysis of their characters, relationship as we can see in their interview, behind the scene videos even with the vague script screenwriter, show candle after real confession of slowburn romance style director, typical ambiguous ending producer Yu Zheng bring XiaoXue romance journey alive and make it possible for XiaoXue fans like me to watch happy ending with their cute daughter.
Yes, happy ending without I need to imagine myself how main couple ending with child will look like using fanart, fanfiction, fan made video/picture/photo.
While watching this drama, I already use all my "imagination" quota for the scenes that make me feel huh?! and use my "patience" quota for Shen Yu Rong and Wan Ning intimate scenes that make me feel urghh brother, urghh, what's that brother? what's that?! so no way I'm not feel so upset like I got rickrolled if they only show the original ending even I know that bound to happen with Yu Zheng dramas.

This drama will be popular for sure because Cheng Lei and Zhou Ye are the rising actor and actress now in C-ent even I'm not familiar with the screenwriter.
From the spoiler of the filming video, it will be clear happy ending with marriage scene especially since it's not under Yu Zheng production \^_^/

My comment for this upcoming drama:
This drama seem to not well known or get mention much among the Qian Shan Cha Ke novels fans on MyDramaList comments or social media like X or TikTok.
It's understandable since the main actor and main actress for this are not well known, played many supporting roles before and not traffic actor and actress.
I watch one of this screenwriter drama before, Faithful, and even it's non romance nor it so fantastic, I like the theme of that drama.
I read Chen Du Ling's Chinese fans comments on Bilibili using google translation and they mentioned the screenwriter other drama plot are not bad.
Actually, in my opinion, this drama has potential to be good onscreen as the result if the director is a good acting coach to Chen Du Ling and Xin Yun Lai because when I watch some of the spoiler scenes videos from Chen Du Ling fans on tiktok, main couple scenes have strong of "aloof main male lead with motives & vengeful main female lead want to avenge so they allying together before slowly fall in love" vibes very much.
Most importantly, there is a video of Chen Du Ling filming a scene with child like clear happy ending with daughter for this drama unlike drama "The Double" under Yu Zheng production that got pressured to shoot extra for happy ending with child because of his sadistic choice which he disguises as artistic choice \^0^/

Lastly, the most popular Qian Shan Cha Ke novel that surely will get adapted to drama but no real conformation for the main casts yet:

My comment for this planned drama:
I read some rumour about the casts for main couple on X and based on the reactions, the novel is the most popular novel among Chinese fans and International fans.
The main casts, especially the main male lead need to bear very high expectation because according to novel fans, the author described main male lead, Xie Jing Xing in very exaggerate way as if she herself fall in love with him LOL
I also read that among the main female lead in her novels so far, main female lead in this novel, Shen Miao method is very ruthless when she avenge the people involved.

In conclusion, I will watch all of these dramas adaptation based on Qian Shan Cha Ke's novels for sure. I'm rooting for all her novels to get drama adaptation hehehe >_<

It's apple vs. oranges kind of stuff, you can be the prettiest orange in the world but some people just don't like oranges and there's nothing anyone can do about it. What you can do instead as a dignified human being is trying not to pompously advertise your personal preferences as an objective truth.

Rewatching for the fourth time right now... I rewatch this drama almost yearly, because it's such a comfort romance drama to me. Jing Jing and Yu Tu are one of my fave drama couples and I just love their journey so much. I still find it so sweet and lovely even tho I watched it so many times.

I really wish we would get more couples who are still so enjoyable after they get together. Why is it so hard to write couples who are still so interesting during their dating era? Either they get cringe or boring...

up until now, imo there’s no other pairing that can beat their chemistry and well-matched visuals. i can’t imagine this drama with another cast than them.

just finished my third rewatch and somehow this time it felt like my first time watching it. so many details that i didn’t notice before.

i really love how we didn’t have any cliches in this drama. they took the mature relationship to another level. this is what i need in a romance drama. they have all of them.

I think her character changed from a strong person to a person without backbone it's like she's completely blind in love. She was so righteous person and helped Qing in investigations but she's now become completely blind . As a wife she should guide her husband to follow right path but she's so deluded that ji yun is a dream come true man that she refuses to see his wrong doings even after seeing he poisoned Qing. If u look briefly qing's warmth and love made ji chu a caring person and influenced him to be on right path but Yao's love only made ji yun overconfident that he's a good man even though he's not because yao doesn't point out his wrong doings. So in conclusion the drama author wanted us as a audience to see how there are two sides of influence of love : 1) how it makes the other person a better human 2) how blind love encourages wrong doings

Unfortunately there isn't really another xianxia like this one XD I would suggest you just try some costume dramas with really good comedy 🙃This was the first xianxia I completed without skipping half the drama. I absolutely loved the comedy.

Anyone else noticed the lyrics on Dramacool are annoying. The lyrics replace the subtitles when the characters are speaking. They should just get rid of it. What's more important, subtitles or lyrics. It's common sense.
