Unfortunately there isn't really another xianxia like this one XD I would suggest you just try some costume dramas with really good comedy 🙃This was the first xianxia I completed without skipping half the drama. I absolutely loved the comedy.

Anyone else noticed the lyrics on Dramacool are annoying. The lyrics replace the subtitles when the characters are speaking. They should just get rid of it. What's more important, subtitles or lyrics. It's common sense.

On episode 23 and I just wish I didn't read the comments section. My heart is broken. I can't watch either of leads die. It's gonna give me a relapse. I'll just get to 34 and assume it all ended well. I can't take any heartbreaks. I love these guys.

Usually it's the 2nd leads that progress fast into couple but this drama did the opposite way~

Typically, I find it irritating that FL often receive unreasonable attention from ML without merit. It seems like directors are aware that a significant portion of the viewer is female and attempt to captivate them by portraying unrealistic affection from ML towards FL. However, in this particular show, the FL undeniably earned and deserved the special treatment from the ML. She not only assisted the ML but also made significant sacrifices for him. Consequently, the drama presents a commendable equilibrium between the leads, showcasing a satisfying sense of equality. Regardless of the ending, I thoroughly enjoyed this drama. The portrayal of brotherhood, friendship, and romance was exceptionally well-done.

Like the story but not to the point that I will rewatch... It's a good drama for chilling which I enjoyed but plot is quite flat and largely on promoting Chinese culture and tourism to overseas fans. Hahaha maybe I'm too used to seeing Zhou Ye's usual not the good girl vibe, her acting in this drama kinda made me feel weird. I do agree with AvenueX on her review of this drama as there's really no ups and downs that makes dramas more interesting.

Still a good drama if you want to enjoy simple romance stuff :)

i'm so glad i decided to watch this despite my misgivings about the ending because there is nothing better than a good wuxia and this is honestly SO good. also, love the fact that the ML and FL are similar in ages irl and we get a mature relationship from the both of them :')
