This drama has a story and focuses on everything instead of pushing for forced and pushed romance plots.

How's the screen time of ML's character?

Netflix always releases full episodes for its original serieses.

The story starts with their romantic encounter. Lol
With many romantic scenes in fist few episodes.
There is no misunderstanding because she is already married(actually secretly divorced but still married in public eye). As she is princess so it's hard for her to break free from this marriage. ML helps her to get divorce.
As for love triangle, FL kinda loved 2ML before marriage but they had not romantic relationship after marriage. Obviously 2ML tries to get back with FL but fails as she doesn't loves him anymore.
It's a happy Ending.

Oh, I read it now.In chapter 215 An Jiu met Mei Jiu. I read about 30-40 chapters randomly. So she was reborn not split from body.
Actually from filming stills many fans and experts speculated already that one of the soul will die with Hua Rongjian sacrificing for An Jiu/Mei Jiu.

Are you talking about fan made things or actual novel. In chapter 67 her soul dies. Don't know what happens next but Mei Jiu is not even in 1/4 th of novel. But from reading some chapters I think she later kinda comeback but they merged with An Jiu being dominant. In novel both(An Jiu and Mei Jiu) never loved Hua Rong Joan and it was one sided towards Mei Jiu but don't know much about Mei Jiu side because she isn't main character of novel. Obviously they might and will change things in drama.
So, there is no such thing as soul separation anywhere in this novel. In second half of novel there isn't even a mention about Mei Jiu.

Nothing final about the cast. Don't know If Ao Ruping or Liu Xue Yi will play second and third leads to Li Hongyi? Unless they have already signed for second season with Youku.
But one thing for sure Youku already has plans for second season so it means script is finalised.

I am halfway through and can't predict what she wants. She says she wants freedom but still has to marry a prince so she won't get freedom by this way. She is bound to army power so she is bound to be involved in politics. She doesn't want to involve in politics but still does it eventually.

I haven't read the novel but I heard this novel is very short. So, there won't be a second season unless screenwriter wants to.... 😂
