Yu Zheng already did quite big harm to X u Kai reputation. He played mostly wooden characters because he selected the scripts.
Now everyone on X is dragging him because of FL crying scene. While his acting is exceptional in this one. His character is literally carrying the drama for me. Obviously FL acting is quite good except that scene but....

It's too heavy on love triangle. I was very much interested but after watching trailer I think it's not for me.

I really liked this one more than DY. It is one of few dramas I watched without skipping anything and watched every episodes daily.
Someone in down comments said worldbuilding. That's exactly the reason I liked it more.

Novel is female centric, not drama. XK was initially first billed. What are you talking about?
Obviously it's about her revenge but ML has his own seperate arc and they won't show XK's character as late as it was shown in novel.

If this remained stuck on love triangle then it will fall too hard just like Moonlight Reunion. XK fans were already not happy with production phase and if results aren't that great then...

It's on no 6 on Youku's reservation list even before filming started. If they put it on reservation list it surely will be filmed. It's just cast isn't confirmed. But from anniversary event and videos Li Hongyi, 1st FL and 2nd FL are kinda confirmed.
