Yea I get where you’re coming from, but cliches are honestly fine (should be viewed more neutrally imo), becuz at the end of the day, it all boils down to how well they are executed, as long as we are sold about the journey, it’s all good (we’ll have to see about how well they sell the miracle, if it happens).

For me I need a miracle-happy-ending. I’m not averse to sad ending btw, in fact, I love it when done right as it can be very cathartic. But, I think it’s clear that this show’s direction seems to be the miraculous-overcoming-all-odds type, like the process can be heartwrenching & angsty, filled with obstacles, but that will sell the eventual miracle-happy-ending much more. I’d assume that a sad ending in this case tho, would just make me think that it’s trying too hard to be a tearjerker and would contrary turn me off (and honestly its not trendy nowadays to force a scenario like that).

Nahh, unless the writer personally state it, pls dun spread this kind of assumptions/impression-farming articles under the guise of ‘news’ just because there are parallels such as a rich heiress marrying down. It’s way too far of a stretch to say it’s based on their real-life story, unless you tell me that the heiress has some sort of memory loss alzheimer as well. Don’t simply discredit the writer’s effort and work like that.

well the show is romance genre tagged, but the romance is very very subtle (mistag?) — in the sense that it’s just good friendship and camaraderie, but honestly their chemistry gives off some couple-coded energy such that you can maybe view it as a budding-romance? (S2 will likely have more romance to it)
