i think so too. the push and pull may work but when he comes back he resets. like his attention goes to GR from the footages we have seen. i don't think YG is that immature to cry over someone not giving her attention to this extend. she might have felt it too.
i dont know i keep getting trauma alert from this season like last season. the patterns overlap a lot! jiyeong was last years mainlead and this year it appears to be yugyeong. the beautiful, good at heart girl who falls too fast and cant seem to catch a break. i understand the urge to revolve the storyline around her unrequited love angle. cause last year i fell for that and this year also im falling for it. they add emotional ups and downs and depth to the show. BUT last year we didnt see mingyus side at all. a lot of his interviews and dates with the other girl wasnt aired. it was just heavily edited. and this year too, i feel like a lot of WY stuff is edited esp his interviews and its just for the show. why do i feel like the edit is making us believe there is more t o YG and WY? i feel like if i get on this ship, there will only be heartbreak at the end of all the edit tricks. can the production team air his interviews? his confession room clips? rather than assuming a whole bunch of nothing based on glances and closeness, it would be good to know whats in his mind. cause he really resets when he is around GR. his gaze is more direct and open in his attraction towards her and with YG, its more like he adores her and gets to be playful.
also adding SW and the new catfish in the mix will change a lot of this game. both of them direct in their approach. whereas YG is careful and in her head and withdrawn. the main reason why i feel anxious to fully get down the YG WY road is trauma from last year production team.
okay why do i feel like its going to be like last season and the main character will be Yu gyeong and her one sided love towards WY. the editing tricks is right there. they focused on YG WY movements and hid the name of the one who he felt attracted then cut to saying " i wanted to thank GY" bit during the confession room sequence. thats not ethical editing. the narrative is set. YG is going to spend her days crying about mixed signals from WY and they wont show his clear signs of attraction and genuine moments with GY and WY to us and make us feel worried for GY too when they both might be genuinely into each other. ugh i have a bad feeling about this. i will not trust this show to show genuine connection. we all saw the narrative surrounding mingyu and jiyeong last season. DONT TRUST THE EDITS. i wish they would spend more time on other couples too and i hope GY and WY ends up together if they want that and leave YG alone so she can form genuine connection with people who actually likes her too. the reason why there is no real couples in this show after 4 season is that they focus more thrills and mystery and misunderstandings than providing genuine environment where love can grow.

my two favorite drama this year was always home and our generation. imagine my surprise when i found booth these gems of actors working on a project together.
sometimes home really is a person! and this drama really hit home for me. mainleads chemistry is off the charts! they really feel like friends to me now. it sad to say goodbye to them. what i loved above all is how flawed each character were. they didnt try to sugarcoat anything. just normal people struggling to find their place in society.

after this show i switched to c dramas for some reason.. nothing else gives me the same amount of cheese and innocence.. the good chinese ones of course
i felt the ml was written well in the k version and the second main lead in c version. But i did not like how they made the fml mother into a demon like cruel figure in k version. it dilutes the narcissistic parent figure traits that a lot of kids suffers from. i felt the c version is more rooted to reality so i like it better.
