I think LZB chose Si Yuan because he trusts Si Yuan's brilliance. He didn't give any instructions, just a simple my body will be here. It's traumatizing but also gave him closure. If Si Yuan never saw him, it's even worse for him and may have caused his DID to flare up again.

The countdown clock wasn't really when LZB died, but when Si Yuan accepted his death. The 4th time was truly final,

It's a fictional language the show created. Show created the spoken & written language, country, currency, police station, uniforms, emblem.... Essentially all the details. Very meticulous.

It is a logical and satisfying conclusion. Justice is served. But I can't say it's a happy happy ending because of everything the characters went through. Resilient and optimistic.

He graduates by the end. Most scenes are not at school.

But even though the romance was peripheral, we did see a beautiful complete journey. Innocent courtship, flirting, a proposal, a lifetime commitment, unconditional support and enduring acts of love. There is also love and romance in the cases. Tragic but speaks to the soul.

I love it so much too. The heart and family bonds, the cases are thoughtful and showcases talented women, and the story is exciting and unpredictable. The acting is phenomenal. I haven't cried kind this in a long time.

I liked it better than other crime dramas too. It is bold, unique and quite surprising how it even passed censorship. If it had promotion, it wouldn't be such a hidden gem

Not sad but our protagonists went through a lot to find some peace. It's an excellent drama!

It's a really good drama! The drama is all original voice, but some of the lips movements don't match because lines were changed to pass the review and the fictional language they created may have been changed back to Mandarin.

The brothers have different accents but the drama even has details that explain that. Mom speaks Cantonese, so older brother has more of her accent, but younger bro grew up in more urban area with less time with his parents, so he doesn't have that accent.

I love the OST. Can't wait till they release it.

Definitely start this. Savor every moment. We don't get dramas like this in Cdramaland

Episode 16's acting is PHENOMENAL. Liao Si Yuan is broken and so am I.

It adds innocence. He's really still student detective, not a super genius or infallible. He has the naive invincibility of youth. Also, his major of being a kindergarten teacher is perfect. Empathetic, patient, and compassionate.

The music is so good. I also loved the interlude played for the dance scenes (Lai La and Si Yuan and especially Episode 4)

That's episode 6 ish? 10 isn't out yet. But watch the conclusion of this case. It is completely unexpected and unpredictable. The bonds between women is amazing.

Dude. Episode 9. I have to rewatch. No one spoil it because it's awesome!

I am really having fun with this one. Ep 7 was so exciting. The brothers are cute and hilarious. So much love. The cases are interesting and thought provoking with the over arching mystery being revealed piece by piece. It's very dark, but also optimistic to see the bonds between people. Acting is excellent.

I find that watching this on a bigger screen is so much better than my phone. The subtle detailed facial expressions can be better seen.
