I find myself not liking this trope in BLs where a gay man in this current lifetime is shown to be woman in his past live and was in love with the lead in that past life as a hetero couple. It bothers me especially when we are not sure if the male lead is gay, bi or pan. I really don't like it when it feels like the lead is only liking him now because he loves "her" in their past life.

But not to get ahead of myself. There's still loads of things to be revealed and regardless of the answer, it won't make me love this show any less.
