Exactly. I thought they omitted a lot of things because they were forced to work around the whole omegaverse thing but this ep clearly shows that there are things they are still allowed to say. So why didn't they explain and make it clear? They don't have to reveal everything from ep 1 but atleast they should have started with introduction bit by bits, any by now, the audience should fully understand what omegaverse is and how that world works.

The writers decided to go with "he'll die before he can return it". So Babe is supposed to be okay with his powers taken away by his lover? So that's how he protects Babe?
