Actually, I loved Secret crush on you and that pairing despite the cringe. I was glad I did not give up watching during the first few eps. That pairing was one of my top pairing after watching a lot of shows and that says alot. SCOY was also my top most rewatchable shows and it gets better every time I see it. I went to look for the novel and I discovered the novel was more tamed compared to the show in the aspect of creepy Lead, which means IDF made all that cringe on purpose. I like SCOY because it shows that not every character is perfect and imperfect people also find someone who complements them. The show is like a gray line and the creepy character did stop his creepiness, atleast to an acceptable level by his lover.

Why? Can't they try out other genre? Off is a very hilarious and playful guy. Gun, while he might be more reserved, is Off's on-screen partner. By extension, they go together. They should be allowed to play whatever they want. Acting a comedy doesn't take away their actual skills. This is also an acting experience that will join/add to their portfolio.
