OK, I can't speak for all gay men but I don't give a damn about women "fetishizing" gay relationships - I don't…
The reason why it really bothered me is because these comments were made by the gay guys in the BL community. It made me wonder if I'm a pervert for not being repulsed by gay content and I wonder if I was ignoring an actual concern of real people in the BL community. Thank you for responding.
There is something I'd really like an input on from everyone. It's been troubling me for a while and since this is the first time I'm in a large BL discussion board like this, I'll be happy to know what you'll think. Please, let's be civil while we talk about this and not fight. Please note, I'm not sure if this is the right place to bring this up but I have to try. So ever since I started BL earlier this year, in some comment sections like Youtube, twitter and IG, I've been seeing a lot of comments accusing straight women of fetisizing again by watching BLs, which makes me uncomfortable (but I chose to ignore as i don't know if there is anything going on) because I thought the main objective of novels, comics and movies/dramas is entertainment, which I would think people are allowed to view any content they want as long as they're adults. I didn't realize certain contents like series/movies which contain gay contents are gender based or we need to have a certain sexual orientation before seeing them? Secondly, characters on screen are fictional, so shipping characters on screen should be fine as long as it's on screen? But bringing it to real life and real people would be a different ball game. Thirdly, I believe anyone is capable of fetisizing anyone regardless of gender or sexual identity. Correct me if I'm wrong. So, always seeing comments like "I'm sick of seeing straight cischet women fetishizing gay me from BLs" is really weird because it feels like "lumping all straight women who watches BLs together and tagging them fetishizers". On that note, if it's indeed wrong for a straight woman to watch any gay content, could there be any way this could be appropriately passed around?
P.S: If you think it's inappropriate to talk about this here, please let me know.. I'll delete this comment. Thanks.
Oh I bet it's even messier. More anxiety lol. And yet I'm still looking forward to it. Maybe I'm a masochist.
Lol. Me too. I'm discovering new things about myself. Apparently, I love the mess, chaos, anxiety and frustration ππ€£. You and I are probably gonna finally fight this time.
I have flashbacks from how intense the comments section was a few episodes ago and I'm very happy we can just…
I'm so waiting for thr next GMMTV series "Playboy". It's gonna be worse. I can forsee some people having an apoplexy alreadyπ . I'll try to protect my heart in advance

Yeah. Been one heck of a ride. You don't know how much I want it to end even though I love the drama. I'm lucky to have gotten away with high blood pressure. I want to keep it that way. π€§π
