This show isn’t just about romance—it’s an unfiltered look at the brutal reality of the idol industry. A…
If anything, this breakup reinforces the core struggle: idols don’t get to choose freely. And that’s the point.//
Exactly. That's the point and the fact that people are still missing this and choosing to blame Po instead... If that stupid rule that Idols cannot date does not exist, if fans with parasocial relationship with Idols would grow up, these companies won't be able to use this as an ammunition over Idols.
Unless Thame could afford to break his contract, all of his ideas are just ideas. Pemika already have him cornered and there's nothing he could do to change that at the moment. Po made the grown-up decision that he needed to.
You just made it sound like he broke up with Thame for that position when that's not true. Pemika pulled a "carrot and the stick on him" and all of the others. Po was not expecting that promotion. Are you perhaps watching the back of your TV? Cos the fact that you missed the reason why Po had to make that important decision that broke him too is insane.
The one who suffered the most was my man Thame!! being alone in korea, had to leave Mars and had to broke up with…
What "everything " did he do for Po? You heard Po. Everything Thame did was for his group members. I agree Thame is left alone but don't make it sound like he sacrificed everything for Po when it's been the other way around. Thame is the only one who deserves all the hug and love but not Po? Lol. What a joke! Atleast Thame got some hug from his friends but who was there to hug Po?🙄
Pemika did nothing out of the goodness of her heart, she only did these things if it could benefit the company,…
💯💯💯 She manipulated and gaslighted them for the benefit of the company. I don't have a problem with that if she stays true to her cause, afterall, she's the CEO. However, I hate it when they try to paint her in a good light by claiming "she's doing it for their own good and that she's helping them achieve their dreams". That's BS!
He is so brave and tries his best in everything and he doesn't want to worry others.
I've bee okay. A lot's been going on but everything has finally settled now. Yeah, we haven't talked in a while. Apologies, I'm terrible at keeping in touch.
Only a person who cares about you and recognises the efforts you put into everything would ask you this.
Thame literally tries to best to carry his group members along. He never wanted to be the reason they won't succeed. He also never wanted to leave them behind. He tries his best to satisfy both sides- his group members and the company. It has to be tiring to continually do all of these and Po have been watching. He sees the struggle Thame goes through and how much he genuinely loves his group members. Poor Thame. He's trapped and bound by that damn contract!!!
Po as a character is so strong. Man was jaded in a long term relationship by someone he loved, trusted and did everything for. Yet, he was brave enough to allow himself develop feelings for someone new and even brave enough to "give them a chance " If I were in his shoes, I wouldn't go near a relationship in the next 5years with a 10-foot pole. Despite his bad experience, he put into considerations all of Thame's inexperiences. He didn't draw back nor tried to overwhelm Thame. He allowed Thame figure himself out, allowed him take his baby steps towards a relationship with a man and was contented with "matching Thame's steps". He didn't stop there. No, he put Thame and Thame's dreams/happiness into consideration every time. He refused to be selfish and of course, would rather not do anything that would make Thame resent him in the future if he were to ignore what Pemika told him. Then he went home and cried alone, then resumed work looking nothing like a man who cried himself to sleep. He's a very strong man and strength does not lie in physicality alone.
When someone tells a whole adult that the decisions they're making for them is "for their own good", it pisses me off. See, the only thing constant in life is change itself. Whilst people do have dreams, the intricacies and finer details of those dreams could always change. Heck! Even dreams themselves change based on a person's experience. So because the boys wants to be successful in their careers, Pemika lies, manipulates and ignores what they actually want because "she's helping them?" What a joke! None of those boys wants to succeed by stepping on others or ruining their own happiness. She lied to them, made a fool of them in front of the cameras, released Pepper's dating scandal even though she knew Pepper wouldn't go to Korea anyway. She lied to Po and made him separate from Thame, but she claims she's helping them achieve their dreams. What is the point of forcing them if they would end up unhappy anyway? Why do a lot of artist/actors use drugs and other harmful things despite being successful? I hate this narrative that Idols can't date and hate it even more than many of our favourites are possibly completely helpless behind the scenes and bound by contracts that they can't afford to break because they wouldn't be able to pay.
The same old "I'm doing this because i want the best for you. I know what you need more than yourself ". So lady CEO is the hero of the story now? Utter BS!!!
