Phu: Let me go. Cir: You're still the same. Any other person would yell at me but you didn't.
Me: Dude, he says you should let him go. What kind of logic is that? You ignored him, keeps badgering him about how he's the same as someone else, and then turns around and says "he'll never yell at you?"๐๐ I'm seconds away from throwing my hands at Cir.๐
Nobody likes to be compared or likened to someone else.. not even their parallel from another world. At the end of the day, he's gonna hurt this Phu if he keeps going on and on about how he's the same with the other Phu. Transfer of affection to another is ultimately not love. Even if he hallucinated everything, it's still the same. Comparing him to someone else is nasty when he expects this Phu to fall for him.
Kidnap suffered from this. It was never promoted as a dark action series. It was clear from the trailer it was…
You're right. I kept seeing comments about how "they are so disappointed with the show because it turned out to be a romcom and how they should have known GMMTV can never get it right bla bla bla". I totally rolled my eyes cos it's understandable if they don't vibe with the show but it's ridiculous blaming the production for their own assumptions. I remember they did this to 1000 Year old Vampire and that vampire show with Frank.
The hope that it will turn from a Thai campy comedy into a French noir movie is impressive. ๐
Exactly. It's how they're trying to turn Thai shows into Hollywood and others. I'm not saying Thai can't do intense show but it depends ultimately on what the writers and producers wants to see. In this case, it's often comedy and camp. That sets them aside from the usual dark, intense and brooding assholes we're used to.
A genuine word of advice to certain fans out there.
When a company releases a trailer for upcoming shows, stop making assumptions about how you think the show will turn out, especially for shows with Guns and supernatural themes. Because, I've noticed the moment a trailer has features of the supernatural or guns, many fans assume it's gonna be dark and intense, and therefore completely misses clues and cues which suggests that the show might be camp. When the show finally airs and turns out to be camp, these fans are unhappy and complaining that the show went off rails and somehow is now completely comedy and that the producers/writers don't know what they are doing. No dear, the problem is not the company. The problem is you who assumed that the show was gonna be the "second coming of James Bond and vampire diaries".
In case many of you haven't noticed, many Thai shows incorporate comedy or camp theme in their shows aside from BOC. It's okay if this is not your thing but stop yucking our yum and go watch squid game or something. This ain't hollywood. This is Thai BL TV. The sooner you catch up with the rest of us, the better.
My theory is that like his friend said, maybe the Cir of this world didn't see a reason to live anymore, and something…
Maybe that Phu is unalive now, and the Cir of this timeline may have actually passed away in this accident, so as an act of mercy from fate, the Cir of that timeline, got brought to this one so he would have a chance to be with Phu once again.// Yeah, this is a possibility too.
If this Cir is the one that came from the parallel universe, where is the Cir from this universe? Could he be in the parallel universe? Is this like a swap? ๐ค Cos if this is the original Cir, even if he saw visions of them in the other universe, it's not enough to wake up to start claming that he and Phu are together since he knows what he saw was a parallel universe anyway and that the couple he saw are a them in a different universe. Plus, I think the original Cir was beaten up because he tried to protect Phu's car before he got into that accident. So, there is a possibility that the original Cir had secret crush on Phu and have been secretly protecting him. This agains brings me back to my question that "the current Cir who woke up from coma is the other one from the parallel universe".
Or maybe at this talk of parallel universe is just a hot fever dream born out of the desires of Cir's heart due to coma๐
