Bitter sweet melancholia

I'm shocked at the low ratings this drama had. It is such a beautiful and unique story and one that will stay with me for a long time. Who knew maths could be so beautiful. This drama gives the viewer the opportunity to see the world through the lens of a mathematician. True slow burn love which is never made to feel inappropriate and the fight for justice against the corruption of an elitist education system. It was never too dark or depressing. I found this story with the backdrop of maths to be very deep and poignant without being boring. The ML and FL and the headteacher were excellent in their roles. I can't believe how young the FL leads looks ....she looked the same age as the ML. This drama deserves to be a hit and tbh I've seen so many K dramas C Dramas Lakorns and J dramas and this is really one of the most unique of them all. This is a must watch imo.

Loved it

I loved this drama so much and although it was good that it wasnt one of those long dramas that drag on with more and more silly plot twists... I actually wished this was longer because I enjoyed it so much. A beautiful romantic love story with amazing chemistry between Anne and James. Wish they had made an extra couple of episodes to show more romantic scenes between the two leads as the last episode was a bit rushed and I was like it's over now. The main song melody was really beautiful and I immediately had to download it. Hope to see more dramas with the 2 of them together. Age is just a number.

Watch the Alternative Ending

If you watch the original ending which I did you will get so pissed off and depressed and feel like you wasted days off your life. Watch the Alternative Ending which is happy and you will feel satisfied and content that the gorgeous hot Pong ends up with Risa. And he is one of the hottest actors I have seen. His love for Risa is so pure and given his childhood you get to understand his feelings for Risa and desire for the perfect family. I loved them together and was rooting for them. I love Noona Romances because it's time we had gender equality. Men date much younger women so why can't women do them same! But I got to say they had the worst kisses. I like the fact Asian Dramas are wholesome and have little skinship but the lack of even proper kisses given the storyline was ridiculous. The characters were very ott and reminded me of the Indian dramas my mum watches but if you are prepared for that then you will enjoy this Lakorn addictive. Its Def a rewatch but only if you watch with the alternative ending which luckily a commenter on the Dramacool site mentioned and where to find it with English subtitles.

True Love and Good Food

Omg i love this show.. I found it better than the original K Drama My Lovely Sam. Soon. I binged watched it in 2 days unable to shut down and watch anything else. Busaba is one of the best heroines I have seen in any K Drama C Drama or Lakorn. She is sweet kind and vulnerable but also strong and feisty and doesn't take crap from anyone. I love the way she could answer back and not now her head down like a victim in some of these dramas. The ML Saran is such a cutey with an amazing smile. I loved the way he looked at Busaba not realising he was falling in love. Busaba doesn't conform to the typical beauty standard yet she was happy with the way she looked and Saran loved her for the way she looked not expecting her to change or fit into the image of what society says beautiful . Although actually I thought she was beautiful. She is a really good role model with an important message that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and beauty comes from within and very importantly.... you don't need to change yourself to make someone love you. The chemistry between the two was amazing almost as if they were a couple in real life. Those kisses.... all i can say is woww. The storys backdrop of showcasing Thai Cusine made want to run into the kitchen and start attempting to cook some yummy Thai food like Busaba. There were even some recipes in the show that had me trying to memorise them lol. This is a must watch for fans of romantic comedies and its become one of my all time favs. Can't wait to rewatch.

I want to watch it again

You know when you watch a really good drama and you get so invested in it that you don't know what to do with yourself when the final credits roll. This is how I feel right now. I found myself staying up till late not being able to turn the show off. This show is romantic thrilling and addictive. But I wish there were more episodes and a few more kisses between Ticha and Q. I'm a fan of Noona romances and the chemistry of the two leads here is undeniable. Ticha and Q make a perfect couple with their dynamic balancing each other out. I love that he waited seven years for her. They needed another episode dedicated to the lead pair when Q becomes a mature lawyer. I liked Ticha however she was a bit selfish and although it's great that this drama showed strong career women who can do anything a man can do and in this drama even better ... But I felt she was putting her desire to become a partner in the law firm over the feelings of Q and taking his love for granted. I'm pleased she evolved at the end by still being ambitious but no longer in a selfish way and she got a little taste of her own medicine by Q. They needed to show more of this and that's why I think the ending was a bit rushed so I hope they will make a Dare to Love 2 where they solving legal cases as a power couple and start their own family. I normally only watch K Dramas.... This is my second Lakorn and it's as good as the top K dramas. Really hated June and the mum and I couldn't understand why the 2nd lead actress didn't choose the hot Doctor over Boss Ben. I don't get the allure of him apart from being the boss. The friends of both the leads were hilarious and were the voices of wisdom and laughter whenever either of the leads needed a reality check. Oh and the legal cases were really exciting and added another dimension to this drama. This deserves to be a massive hit. I want to see more dramas with this Bella and Kongthap together again

Warm and cosy

Just finished watching and this left me with a warm fuzzy feeling in my heart. I already feel like rewatching and this has become one of my top 5 dramas ( the other 4 are K Dramas)There is nothing deep or tense or dark... Just a sweet easy story to get you through a rainy day. The plot is pretty straight forward as it's just about the FL learning to love and open her heart to the gorgeous ML. Will she have the courage and say I love you and overcome the age difference. That's the storyline but the 16 episodes went really quickly and I love the older woman younger guy or Noona romances as they are known as in K dramas. I loved the chemistry between Pancake and New and I ended up wanting a bf and romance just like him with her. The additional story lines and secondary characters with their own love stories were really interesting too esp Priew with her baby daddy . It's great that the females were strong career women in their own right. The rivalry between Kiss and Pancake was an additional story line and these strong ladies had their own dynamic which was another great element of this drama. I loved Kiss's wardrobe and style. I did find myself getting annoyed when the female lead dated Kan but I guess that was part of her journey to understand what true love was.
Oh and got mention how cute the child actors were as the young Tofu and Jubang.
And I did get annoyed with the FL a few times and shout wake up and just open your eyes... see this sweet loving hottie right in front of your eyes. It's hard to like her in the beginning but that's the point of the this drama... How her character evolved. There isn't too much worry though as luckily the end was happy and predictable like nice hot choccy.
