Jin Man chose the best option in this situation. Jian is t at his side anymore she was in Seoul. He had no way of knowing if those guys were keeping close watch on her and ready to kill if he made a move so his best bet is to “die”. I see what he did as protecting Jian. He knows how he raised her and he knows the people he really trusts has her back.

I also don’t think actually died either. My guess is he’s just watching from afar. Granted he should step in and not let Jian take over but with the situation at hand him staying dead is good. The best way to catch your enemy off guard is by not letting them k ow your next move. I think in their head him leaving the organization and easing his niece must have made him soft. Cause they knew he isn’t a cold blooded killer like Bale.

I think he knew but in a situation like this he’s not beside her and his hands are somewhat tied so his best bet was to let the guy go and do as he said. But he did call Pasin and said something before doing it so we have no idea if that was a signal. Plus with Jian not being at arms reach there’s no way of telling if he does something to the guy she wouldn’t be harmed. Someone once said to me sometimes the best thing to do is run or surrender

I love Bo Hyun’s character In Soo. He’s an onion there’s many layers to him that we don’t know yet and that carefree personality is just a facade. This character really suits him

that’s how his character is supposed to be. plus it’s easy to tell it’s a facade he puts on. that nonchalant care free immature chaebol act. That part was evident when his brother spoke to him about their dad’s election. plus the fact that he got a lawyer license because he was bored. like who does that

FL's actions in ep4 were logically illogical! Let me explain (excuse the lengthy write up)

Devil's advocate plea.
1. Given the situation she's in it's expected for her to be a bit irrational and not be able to think straight. Her uncle died a few days ago and she's now finding out her uncle was running a shop for mercenaries. That info hasn't even sunk in yet. She hasn't even grieved his death and already she's thrusted into a world she never knew existed.

2. Her only source of "familiarity" is BJM. I'm using this word very loosely cause they've not seen each other since middle school ( he mentioned it when they first met and she never recognized him). Plus their relationship dynamic isn't even a friendship cause from that flashback we got of her being bullied, it looked like they never spoke once until that incident when he offered her help.

3. THEY'RE PEOPLE TRYING TO KILL HER! Of course, she's not going to be the best judge of character in this situation. She's being introduced to 2 new people whose existence was nonexistent till that point. Her life is at stake so her guard is going to be up and naturally a person will look for something familiar in that chaos. It just so happens that her "comfort" (again using this word very loosely) is that snake BJM.

On the flip side of things her illogical behavior

1. She knows the type of person her uncle is. Standing on that my first question would be how did he die so easily? And by suicide at that?

2. BJM was the last person to see him alive and also conveniently found him dead. That screams SUSPICIOUS to me (blame my love of true crime shows lol).

3. She's being helped by someone who referred to her uncle endearingly. This should let her question what his relationship was with that person and her next question should be why would someone trying to kill you risk their life to save yours?

4. The basement code i her student ID number( a hard-to-know passcode btw). If she was only able to get down to the basement cause of a memory she had, how else would someone get down there if her uncle didn't let them in? This is a golden question which on her part I thought was dumb but won't hold her her mind isn't going to think straight in a moment where she has to act quickly and on instincts he doesn't have.

5. I get her being surprised at the double life her uncle had. But at the same time, he left her clues and was preparing her. Bulletproof everything, school ID number, chip in her arm, people her problems magically disappearing (the situation with her boss, the bullies, and the creepy dude that was mentioned). He gave her a map she didn't know how to unlock.

6. A stranger knows specific details about her (MinHye). The calling of her uncle's name into the sky, 3 times won't be something he'll disclose to every Tom Dick or Harry. That's between them 2 and if some third party mentioned that to me, I'd feel a bit more trusting cause the person does know me.

Overall Jeong Jian is doing the best she can in a crappy situation. She WILL make many dumb choices * cough cough* BJM. The writer already gave us a clue to his evilness and when she took him down his comment hit the nail in the coffin. But we have to trust our Jeong Jian to deal with that sleaze bag when he wakes up. Also pressing that file recording ...I don't care if your bosom buddy ay no you press it and risk the chance of being blown up.

so this was a major problem. and like in this drama she was supposed to marry the guy and he died in the way to the wedding. In todays world that wedding is automatically called off and she’s single. She has no obligations to the man’s family whatsoever but they still married her off to a ghost to do what!? Serve his family? And it makes no sense to me even if that was the custom to get a DIL if you ain’t got no son. They really are something else. The sister telling her she should’ve died with her brother that’s foul this girl didn’t even know who he is. And then to mourn a man she never met for 12 damn years plus “love” him excuse my language but that’s bullshit!

so in the WEBTOON JiWon’s mom had an affair and left her we get told this when Soo Min “accidentally” spills it. Ji Won’s mother left her dad for Soo Min’s dad and JiWon and hates her for that plus she’s jealous of how JuWon’s dad loved her and treated her so lovingly because she’d invited her over once and SooMin saw their dynamic. Honestly it’s just wild and bunkers to hate her over something she has no control over
