Also, before the whole Xuan*Hou plot, if Jing became Xuan's enemy for any reason XY would abandon him because throughout the show and the novel it was made clear that XY put Xuan before everything.

No, but I feel like that's the whole point. Both she and FFB/XL can't just abandon everything. He'd never do that. If he was actually willing to do that maybe she might too because they would both be giving up a lot/something that is extremely important to them but that's never going to happen. At least that is just my opinion. I can see how one would think otherwise too though.
