This is a short idol drama. Some of y'all need to be realistic with your complaints and adjust your expectations. I'm not saying y'all have to like this drama, but some of the stuff you guys are saying, it's as if you think you're watching something like Swords into Plowshares. This is not that. Again, a short series idol drama. And based on the actual novel, she was mainly acting frantic in the beginning as well; it wasn't until she went to the battlefield and had more experience that she truly wised up.
I’m also really enjoying this series. Shame it’s only 24 episodes!
I love a lot of her recent works too. I really liked the glory, even though a lot of people didn't seem to enjoy that one. And yes, her tension with the male lead is very good. Honestly, she has chemistry with all of them.

I'm torn on the length of episodes. I'm happy because it more than likely means the plot will stay engaging from beginning to end, but at the same time, I'd love more time to watch the characters and their schemes.
I wasn't going to watch this at first. I'm not even sure how to explain why or how I started, but guys...it's so good! And it's only 24 episodes, which means there's no time for nonsensical bs (hopefully lmao).
What do you guys think about the trailer? Seeing as in her last drama her character tricked me... I'm thinking in this drama...it's a play too lmao. I don't believe she's actually suffering from schizophrenia. But if this character is, that would be so interesting. I don't recall ever watching a CDrama where the FL was suffering from a mental illness such as this one. Very excited.
Title:Why Are the Playboys in Beijing Jealous of the Good Girls Departure? |乖乖女退场京圈浪子怎么眼红了 ML: Zhao Zhen Dong | 赵振栋 FL: Hou Cheng Yue | 侯呈玥
Synopsis
Ling Jue was wild and unrestrained, while Qin Shuyi was quiet and law-abiding. The two began a relationship based on a casual "let's just play around." She accepted all of his demands with calm composure, leading everyone around them to believe she was desperately in love with him.
However, when Ling Jue brought up a breakup because he was "bored," she simply responded with a faint nod and left him with absolute decisiveness.
When they meet again, she is on a blind date with another man, talking animatedly about a future marriage. Ling Jue realizes with a shock that her past obedience was merely a sign that she never actually cared—he had never been a part of her future.
Later, with eyes red from tears, he accuses and pleads with her word by word: "Qin Shuyi, you have no heart." "Qin Shuyi, look back at me... I'm not dirty." "I beg of you." [Source: https://movie.douban.com/subject/38396509/]
