I feel like people are forgetting her age in the show and the fact that she did not have to scheme this much before her husband did what he did to her. She's new to all of this and isn't slowing down because she wants to avenge her family and thinks she has nothing left to lose. The way she acts makes perfect sense to me.

But I'm not surprised by the comments because people are typically more harsh towards female leads than male leads. For example, in LLTG, Minglan etc, the actions of the female lead characters made sense yet SS and Minglan constantly got attacked. So in short, this is nothing new.

I like that we get to see why she fell for him but I hate her so at the same time I hated it. And it makes you wonder if he was really so "clean". Cause would a truly uncorrupt, kind person kill their wife with a shovel?

Have you seen an extended clip or something? Ik that her and SYR won't get married because there are pictures of her getting married to XH. But it's still annoying and in the preview for ep 34/35 he's trying to blackmail her.

From the previews I saw it doesn't look like it. That comes afterwards. And SYR is going to ask to marry her.

I feel like that fish tally thing for military power is fake. And I feel like the argument is a play between the emperor and XH. They are going to use this to trap the princess and SYR cause there is no way he's giving up military power. Either that, or it's real but useless because the army is loyal to XH no matter what? Lmao I'm making up stuff but still.

I wonder what YSJ will say to the emperor though. I also wonder how SYR got the princess to agree to allow him to ask for JL's hand in marriage to the emperor. Or does she not know? There's no way she doesn't know because JL, her dad, and YSJ know. So did he tell the princess he wants to marry her in order to kill her again? I'm so confused by this man and his shamelessness.
