It's overrated show. No one's interested in flashbacks of their parents pasts
Ignorant statement considering the praise that part of the story has gotten from so many people🙄 opinions are called opinions for a reason and yours is in the minority
Kang Hanna hasn't been mentioned much in the comments so I just wanna say I'm excited to watch her in a non-villain role! Only seen 2 of her projects but I love her on variety shows
THERE IS NO FREAKING WAY I AM WATCHING THIS, IF HEO NAM JUN IS SECOND MALE LEAD!! MAKE CHOI WOO SIK THE SECOND…
The second male lead character was far more popular than the 1st lead in the webtoon though.. And the yearning aspect is a huge part of it. Don't assume 1st leads will always be the "best" character. Thats just silly. HNJ will get much more love for this role than if he was cast as the other ML. I'm confident enough to guarantee that
she carried most of the investigations how do u conclude that she's dumb. she was basically the brain of the squad,…
What an ignorant statement. And naming Thatcher as if she's some icon of women and not one of the most hated humans of all time.. Just further proof of that. Hope you've grown as a person since making this comment
I loved the story overall, but I didn’t like the ending 😕It felt really unrealistic that the character who…
Thats not what happened at all. I agree that it was rushed but there were hints of both the PM having sinister intentions from early on, and the QM not being all bad. MOST people aren't pure good or pure evil in real life.. That applies to dramas as well. Atleast it should
They won't????? I thought they would be a couple. What about Kang Han Na?
He gets shot multiple times. Basically sacrifices himself for FL and ML. Takes 3-4 japanese loyalists out with him. His motivation is complicated but yea the guilt is a huge part of it. His last thoughts are of FL

In the latter part of the story Namjuns character develops unrequited feelings for FL. That might sound like a typical 2nd ML thing but its a bit more complicated than that.. They start out very hostile towards eachother for several reasons.
And yes his character dies at the end. This story is pretty infamous for being quite sad and melancholic. I would not expect a happy ending unless they change it drastically for the drama (which I doubt they will). It might be bittersweet at best.
Lastly, any Namjun fans disappointed he isn't main lead here should be happy to know his character Haesu generally is far more popular than Uihyeon. I suspect people watching the drama will feel the same way :p

Kang Hannas character has more screentime, and starts out the series working closely with Namjuns character. She is a recent widow though. No real romance involving her. BIG SPOILER underneath, stop reading unless you don't mind:

In the webtoon Seungyeons character dies in chapter 13 (out of 105 chapters). Its a tragic but very compelling character, so I'm personally not too bothered by her having a lesser role. But I'm confused why she was announced as a 2nd lead. Maybe its just because Hanna joined the cast later. Not sure
I'm always willing to stretch my imagination somewhat, but the amount of times ML and FL randomly bump into eachother in the first 3 episodes is hilarious
