I watched both the episodes i don't think so it is slow paced at all, if they will move forward without explaining things or without showing how won min ho will become wonjeong again then how will story be believable, i loved ep 7 and ep 8 was also good, the entire white villain with hoodie scene and how goongtan again came back to life , min ho proceeding with training are important scenes , also they show how min ho is lamenting because of her friends' finance's death was also very believable . I am sure that red scarf will also have some significance

If i compare it with Alchemy of souls which was my fav drama of 2022, that show have lots of filler and funny scenes but we still enjoyed all those scenes
But Island is little on darker side , i agree season 1 may be little slow paced but i am having i hopes from season 2
Also female leads smart dressing sense is treat to the eyes, see looks really smart in all those leather jackets, boots and jeans☺️☺️

Remember Business proposal also had 12 episodes but it became one of most popular and loved drama of 2022 due to its comedy and romance. i hope the same from this drama any way i don't know why only one on air kdrama is good otherwise why i feel their is nothing to watch these days
Hi these days i feel their is nothing to watch. Even no great kdramas are on air except this drama. i have started watching our blooming youth lets see how it goes what are you watching now a days
So everyone was saying that episode 1 had cliche scenes but after watching episode 2 i didn't find any cliche scene. This female lead is so...strong , her ways for convincing crown prince were really different 😂 she even tell him that he is a jerk 😂😂

I think others feel romance was unnecessary because you see after episode 10 i guess there are no loved dovey scenes between male couple. The story gets shifted more towards crime/suspense plot . I enjoyed chemistry of main couple but i was more invested in second couples story you know when i was watching early episodes i thought second male lead has some baggage and in the end he will accept her when show will end
I never imagined until episode 11 that they will have tragic end☹️
Honestly i never imagined he will murder 3 women, in worst case i thought by mistake he would have set fire to the place , he was minor but never thought he would have performed entire crime
