Dew,Neo,and Offs characters are getting more interesting . And their acting is getting more intense . Tees acting…
Tee’s acting is very good. At this point you’re just bitter about him. If you don’t like his acting that’s completely your opinion, but why do you feel the need to post the same comment every time a new episode comes out? We got your point the first time. Repeating it every week doesn’t make your opinion any more valid it just makes it seem like you’re obsessed with hating on Tee. Stop spreading negativity on this comment section.

If you had only talked about Tee’s acting, I wouldn’t have even bothered replying because that’s your opinion, and it has nothing to do with me. But you also spoke disrespectfully about Tee and his friendship with Dew. I don’t know them personally, and neither do you, so let’s not judge their friendship or dismiss it as “fan service” when we clearly don’t know them well enough to make that claim.

There’s nothing wrong with ‘non parasocial viewers’ judging a show purely on its artistic merits but there’s a lot wrong with spamming a comment section that’s public to everyone including those who actually enjoy the series, with negative reviews just because the show is not meeting your expectations. I have seen one account spamming the comments to talk shit about tee just because they don’t like his acting.. one comment to share your feelings and thoughts might just do the trick but is it really necessary to reply irrelevant comments of others just to share your very unwanted opinion?

Alright we get it. This is a discussion board and you have discussed with many user how you don’t like tee's acting, shouldn’t this be the end of the discussion? Must you go and ruin the joy of others that are clearly liking the series by replying to them by the same freaking thing you have already said a thousand times?? What, are you gonna stay in the comment section till the end of the series just to repeat the same thing like a broken record??

I really don't get people shitting on Tee's acting when a lot of GMMTV actors are (were) on his level 😅Makes…
There definitely is many actors in and outside of gmmtv that are also lacking in acting and nobody makes a big deal out of it but when it’s tee suddenly its a big issue??

Not watching something you don’t like and not giving shit reviews that are not logical seems like common sense to me which you don’t really seem to have thats why i have to tell you. You also don’t know dew personally to say he will be upset about tee bringing him down, even if you wanna continue watching the series just to talk shit on tee, go on. But please do remember to spare some time for healing because being THIS obsessed with hating someone completely unrelated to you doesn’t seem very stable.

Even if his acting stays the same for this series, in future works he might do better. Saying dew supporting tee is fan service is quite nonsense because they were closest friends years before this series was even in plan. Even if this series is not a success, Dew won’t see this as a project that is dragged by a co-star rather he will view it as a project with his best friend he has long wanted to act alongside with that unfortunately didn’t receive much attention. If you are so sure future episodes will disappoint you, i suggest you don’t waste anymore time on it.

Why is it for other pairs when one chose another its seen as the most romantic gesture of the century but its is a bad thing when its about dewtee? The reason they were even given a chance was not solely dew recommending him but also because the company saw the potential in their chemistry and their popularity for a ghost ship. I have been a follower of gmmtv for a very long time and i have definitely seen other actors ( even some very known actors) who are lacking in their acting skills and rely on their partners to carry them yet its overlooked but in the case of tee' FIRST main lead role( he is not even bad, pretty decent), it’s seen as some kind of blasphemy? Just because you might dislike the pairing or genre that doesn’t give you the right to disrespect anybody.
If you feel anything of this series is not to your liking and is intolerable, don’t forget nobody is holding a gun to your head, you can always drop it.
Dewtee mania, let’s continue showing dewtee love and support.

This is not tee's first role but it’s the first time he is given a chance to actually perform and better himself. All his previous roles are minor and he doesn’t get much screen time, this is his first major role. Although there might be other actor/actress that has done well even on their debuts but each person has different pace in their career. His acting is indeed not that good, that even i do admit but please don’t completely give up on him and continue giving him chances to improve himself in future projects.
Dew has poured his soul into this series through both his acting and drawing, i hope both his and tee’s efforts won’t go to waste. In future projects, they will likely and hopefully do better.
Guys, let’s continue supporting them.

https://mydramalist.com/discussions/778182-this-is-ridiculous/148402-funny-names-explained-wang-cuihua-and-zhang-san
“ As this is a frequently asked question, here is some background to explain why the leads’ names are funny.

Zhang San

Zhang (张) is the third most common surname in China and it has very ordinary / neutral connotations, like "Smith" or "Johnson".

San (三) is also a very ordinary name. It means "three" and it used to be common for rural families to name their children in order, with the third child being named "三".

Together, Zhang San (张三) has a more specific connotation and usage, like the equivalent of "John Smith" (the go-to example of a very basic, ubiquitous, ordinary name) or "John Doe" (a placeholder name for any person).

Wang Cuihua

Wang (王) is the #1 most common surname in China and is more prevalent in northern China.

Cuihua (翠花) is also a name that used to be very common. It strings together some nice concepts (jade or emerald green - 翠 - and flower - 花), but it is a very literal (i.e., not abstract and elegant) and also strongly associated with country girls (especially country girls from northeastern China / especially in a stereotypical or comedic sense) and a much older generation.

Notably, the FL's third great uncle gave her this rustic, old-fashioned name. There was a 90s song called "Northeasterners are all Living Lei Fengs" (东北人都是活雷锋) that got very popular in the early 2000s that had a line ("Cuihua, serve pickled cabbage!" / 翠花, 上酸菜!) at the very end that became iconic and can be used as a funny reference for someone to imply that a lady is a bit rustic in a light-hearted, familiar, teasing way.

The song was also used as the theme song for a TV show (A Family in Northeastern China / 东北一家人) in 2001, with the iconic line voiced by one of the main characters of the TV show. One of the characters in the show is a waitress from the countryside named Cuihua.

The line is so well-known that:

university drama students (including Deng Chao) put on a production of a play that opened with the song and that was titled "翠花, 上酸菜!";
when an at-home-cabbage-pickling machine was invented in China, the news used the iconic phrase in their headlines for the story; and
there is a brand of pickled cabbage called "Cuihua Pickled Cabbage" (翠花酸菜) that is produced by Heilongjiang* Cuihua Group (黑龙江翠花集团), which uses a country girl image as a kind of mascot.
*Heilongjiang is the northernmost and easternmost province of China.

There are other Cuihua-related tropes and phrases, but that's the main one that's relevant here.

The ML used that famous line ("Cuihua, serve the pickled cabbage!") when he was laughing at the FL's real name in episode 29.

In a way, it's almost like an early meme that's old enough for him to have known about it before he transmigrated into the historical story in 2016”
