Ruyi being the badass assassin not knowing about anything else except for killing people is being gradually taught to love, have compassion, enjoy life a bit more and even about court affairs today by Ning. Like Ning yuanzhou has been constantly educating her to help her see the world beyond her wasted years of being an assassin. This is beautiful screenplay to evolve Ruyi's character. Outstanding

In EP15, Ruyi flipping back the poisonous needle claiming it was her who was the inventor of that poison was so badass. I love it how the leads both have so many badass moments already

Jo hyejoo has such a good screen presence even with just the few scenes she is in. Really looking forward to her scenes more. Probably a good actress in the making

Btw I really love how MAA is unearthing all these pretty talented girls and gradually making them big. The company helps them start as models, then gets them guest roles in popular dramas just to make them noticed in dramaland & eventually establishing them for more support/lead roles. GYJ successfully completed the cycle. Roh yoonseo & Hong suzu are heading towards completion. The next set is already here like hyejoo, bae ganghee etc. Amazing

The song kang hate is kinda forced here I feel. I haven’t liked his previous works either but think he is doing pretty well here or rather the script here suits him the best maybe? (Obviously KYJ is the better actor by a mile, so you will deffo see him lacking. In isolation, feels like he is a good fit here)

I kinda doubt it tbh. The 2 kisses we have got till now were just pecks. So don’t think we will be getting anything more bolder than that… but again, I am not complaining. The intimate dialogues and direction are making up for it easily

Have to say about Jung yoomin acting with her mom in ep 11. She is simply phenomenal acting out emotional scenes esp. her eyes making the talk effortlessly. I cannot help but think that Kdramaland has missed out an exceptional performer for far too long considering she made her debut like 10 years ago. Hopefully she gets more rewarding main roles in the future.

Whoever thought of adding the 'child' plot to Ruyi's character deserves massive praise. Every episode of them talking about their future kid is a great mix of hilarity and romance that's blended so well that I can feel the insane chemistry between them by just having intimate dialogues without any physical intimacy (as obv. cannot expect much physically intimate scenes I guess since FL is happily married with a kid in IRL). Screenwriter is definitely a genius for giving us that.

It's been bordering around only 4% on viewership in korea though. That is not 'doing good'. Just average

Shen yujie is the standout in this drama for me. She is insanely gorgeous everytime she is on screen and a pretty good actor too. Imma huge fan now

yep. She has been an outcast since a child . Her wanting to marry LiNi comes from that sad childhood coz she sees him as her beacon of hope to turn her life around. I really hope she gets a happy ending

Personally kind of annoyed at how they started it showing Li Ni as mature, scheming, smart etc but made him a simp in the last few episodes. Like come on bro, you have bigger things to do than sneak around your girl 24/7 :/
